Re: quad operator bank by humble audio

Little noodle here with the Quad Operator... it's set up sort of like an old school FM electric piano here, then put through Rings (and etc.). Just Friends supplies the drone, and Marbles does all the steering, along with a ton of envelopes supplies by O_C and Quadrax. https://soundcloud.com/user-11...

Re: Post pics of your euro setup!

Wasn't claiming they didn't credit Mutable. It is quite obvious they did. They definitely didn't credit Antumbra or Jakplugg's re-designs. That was the point I was making. These designers spent considerable time and effort developing new takes on modules that many including myself have greatly enjoy...

Re: Post pics of your euro setup!

Most of that is Antumbra re-designs of mutable products in the picture. After later doesn't give credit anywhere, which is interesting but not unexpected with that kind of operation. Not that I'm a big fan of all the clones myself (I own plenty of MI, but no clones), but After Later Audio literally...

Re: Pulsar-23 by Soma

I've about given up on ever receiving this. Two months ago they told me my number was up... then told me they had an error, and it'd be two more months. Wrote to check yesterday and I was told it'll be "a few more months." :despair:

Re: Cost cutting recommendations?

You have a lot of big sexy modules, but no VCAs or important utility like mixers, mults, attenuators, etc. You have space to add those things here, of course... but you'll probably want to start out with them.

I have one on order from PC as well... and also waiting on a Natural Gate (which seems as if it will arrive sometime August-September). It's going to be the summer of the LPG around here!

Re: XAOC Devices - Praga

I love it. I do use it to drive pedals, too. It's more or less completely taken the place of the Mackie 1202 I was using before. It doesn't have all of the functionality, of course, but it does what I need it to do.

Re: Stock or Hemisphere Suite for my New Ornament and Crime Module?

I just picked up O_C myself, and started with the stock firmware... though as has been said, it's super easy to switch back and forth between firmware versions. First patch with Quantermain mode below... love this thing! Between this and Disting, though, I might need to finally cave and pick up that...

Delighted that more is on the way from Emilie, and sad the end is approaching... but I'm sure she'll be on to other things that make her happy, and that's a win too. Her modules were what got me back into Euro (and music in general) after a 16+ year hiatus, so I'm grateful.

Re: Ochd by Instruo / DivKid

Gah I ordered one from Signal Sounds and fedex immediately had a delivery exception and the package hasn't even left the UK yet. Now I wish I had just waited and got one from Control. I had a similar experience, but while it looked like my package was going to be significantly delayed, it showed up...

Thanks! The mutated Optodist next to it is new as well. Sort of pricey to do one-offs, but it's a lot of fun.

Holy cow... price from Signal Sounds, shipped, was significantly below current US retail. Great tip.
