Haha Synthcube are you serious? Almost 2000$ with VAT and shipping to Europe?
That's 900€ more expensive than it cost in the first run!

I had loved a PCB and case/wheels only option by Weston themselves...I guess I pass then!

First of all, I don't really see any obvious mistakes. Except for the pots. They look really messy and you should clean these solder blobs up. It looks like there is a connection between the left and the middle pin on the rightmost pot. Did you try to swap the LF351 with a TL071? Did you use BC547 a...

Korg MonoPoly recapping...replace the Tempcos as well?

Hi guys and gals, I'd like to replace all the electrolytic caps in my Mono/Poly which I bought second hand about a year ago. I already recapped the power supply but I'd like to do the other boards as well. However I'm not shure if it makes sense to replace the Tempcos and apply some new thermal past...

Thanks Julien for the quick reply!
There is something weird going on also with the Balance trimmer (maybe it is broken or not soldered correctly).
I'll check over the weekend.
Cheers :guinness:

Dear Julien, I hope you can help me (or somebody else) because I still don't know how to properly calibrate the modulation mix part. Especially steps 6: Adjust Offset trimpot (R384) to null any offset. (What offset should be nulled/how?) and Step 11: While switching OSC-MOD control on and off, adjus...

Please look at my post above.
For complete muting on both ends solder in the R62 10M and use a 120k for R53.
That should give you a complete drop out of the Pulse at both ends of the knob!

I left out all the "optinoal" parts including the TL431. My r4 resistor is a 1k2 as in the Fonik BOM. I built the modules with Ferrite beads and a C0G capacitor for the timing cap. Everything else is pretty basic. I use my modules in a Doepfer LC9 case with the proper power supply. Herre is a pictur...

Hello Guys, I just built a Fonik VCO Maximus (two actually). I built it after the V1.04 BOM without the optinonal Voltage stabilizer. I used a new CEM3340G and I have no problems with the PW changing pitch. I even used the 10M Reistor in the R62. With a 120k in R53 you get a cancelling (silence) Pul...

Dear Strat, The signal from the input is present on the LM13700 as well as on the 311. Interestingly the signal on pin 5 of the LM13700 is louder than on Pin 12. I hear the incoming signal at TAP2 out just that there is no feedback with the Tap2 pot. I already checked all resistors and caps twice an...

Hello Strat, I just discoverd something strange and I don't know if it is supposed to be like that or not. If I put a signal into the input and just monitor the output of TAP2 and turn up the FEEDBACK 2 knob, there is no feedback at all. If I trun up the FEEDBACK 1 knob there is a feedback loop audi...
