Sounds like you need to adjust your truss rod to add a little relief to the neck. It is probably slightly backbowed.

Re: Hordijk VS Wiard 300

I have had the luxury of owning a 14 module Wiard and personally love it. It tracks beautifully, sounds incredible, and has a lovely unique sound that is full of vibe. One of my favorite systems of all time. But it boils down to what you are looking to do. If you want the more odd and esoteric type...

Do the Malekko Wiard series sound just like the blue panels?
Unfortunately they do not have the same oomph. They are okay but not close to as rich and full as the original.

Re: Blacet Power Supplies

Synthcube has acquired Blacet and will presumably be making them available again soon. They do come up on Reverb and the BST forum here. Otherwise you can DIY if you feel comfortable installing a power inlet, etc. for one of the Meanwell supplies that John used on the last iteration of his PSU. Tha...

Blacet Power Supplies

Hi all,

I was wondering if there are any places to buy power supplies for blacet modules? I’m looking around but not able to find anything since the man himself passed on. Any help would be most appreciated.

Is charging almost seven (7) grand for a single module something that Don had envisioned for his instruments?
Definitely not and I have lost mega respect for Mark over this.

Re: The Utility Modules for Semi-Modular Synths Discussion

I would also consider getting a small euro case to add in some modulation modules such as a Maths, a tempi and some envelopes and filters. These are always great for coloring sound and creating different textires.

Re: Live performance tutorial - Steevio

After publishing an improvisation called Steevio Live Improv 28-10-19 here a few days ago I decided to explain my technique for note sequencing on my newly re-built rig. There's a brief intro then I continue on from where I left off after the above improvisation with a 5 minute rough jam, morphing ...

Re: warmest sounding complex oscillator?

Personally I’ve been a huge fan of the make noise and verbos complex oscillators. Each of them have very rich tones and are very dial-able. But if we are talking raw tone for oscillators as a rule, Wiard 300 cvco is amazing!!

Re: Machinedrum sync question

Machinedrum is clocked fine by octatrack through A4, but restarting the pattern on the octa doesn't not reset the pattern on the md. It picks up where it left off. I'm pretty unfamiliar with midi. The settings on OT / A4 are sync and transport on. Is transport the same thing as a pattern reset? Md ...

Re: Machinedrum sync question

Alright so let me get this straight, you are trying to sync md, to a4, to ot? If so, I would setup your midi on the md to send all signals. Run the midi out from the md to the midi in on the a4. Configure the a4 to receive and send midi in the midi config. Then run the midi out from the a4 to the mi...
