Re: Polyfusion listed some modules

We've seem both replies to whether this is Logan or Ron Folkman. Does anybody know for real which is behind this site?
These are the Logan/Scott modules, not the Ron Folkman/Jim Solomon ones.

Re: E370 Synthesis Technology - bad file size

You must use WaveEdit to convert the files, which first need to be 16 bit samples. WaveEdit MUST start with 16bit .WAV files. It can't convert from 32 or 24 to 16, your DAW software has to to that step.

Re: Polyfusion update?

I couldn't care less if your "right or wrong" armchair quaterbacking a project you were not directly involved in was a "success". "Warning people" is a common pastime here and other places [shrug]. It doesn't help the people (like me) with these pc boards NOW. I have zero desire to go back with some...

What exactly is the "choice to be made"? Jamie forced the choice. How long has this dragged on.....2 years? I have a set of David boards sitting here for like...a year? I suppose MW is the place for some people to relive their jr high school lunchroom days. Heaven forbid people act like adults/profe...

The E520 Hyperion uses a phase vocoder to do the time stretching, not a "granular" method.

Re: A small Japanese iPhone app does what the entire synth/modular industry cannot: Time-stretch to x0.01-speed.

The E520 Hyperion can do time-stretching to 0.01x. It was a KickStarter campaign, and today I finished shipping all the modules ordered in that campaign plus 63 ordered prior. I had a period to order directly off my website up until last month, where an additional 85 or so were sold. It will take me...

Re: Synth Tech e520 Hyperion Stereo Audio Processor

Quick Update: I'll be finished with shipping all the KickStarter modules by Tuesday of next week. I will then start, in batches of 15, sending emails out to the people that ordered post-KS to confirm address, etc. It will take me until somewhere around Dec 8th to 100% ship every preorder E520. They ...

By the end of this week, I should be shipped out to Backer #194 in KickStarter. I am running low on black E520 panels, more are on order and should arrive later this week. If I do run out, then all silver modules within the KS my be shipped before the black ones. Will have to wait and see. Beta test...

Re: E352 Issues

Every issue I have had for the last 10 years have been case/system power supply issues. This includes, in some cases, buss boards. And in a few rare cases, it has to do with the AC power in the room (or my fav, plugging a power strip into another power strip). In general it seems to be based on init...

Calling my baby fugly, huh? "typical MOTM panels are 0.090 thick" No, that is incorrect. They are 0.125in thick "with large mounting holes" The holes are 0.213in diameter, so any washer OD or screw head will need to exceed this Now the issue is: if using threaded inserts, will the mounting hole spac...

a) I'm 40% through the KickStarter orders

b) there will be a new firmware release in min-Nov that adds features and 3 (maybe 4) new algorithms (and 1 big improvement on an existing algorithm). I'll post the details when we enter beta testing around Oct 15th.

SynthTech hardware/tools for panels/knobs/etc

In case anyone needs to swap knobs, etc on SynthTech modules Knobs: use 1.6mm Allen (hex) setscrew. Future modules may have a slotted screwdriver instead. Shaft is 6.3mm round Encoder: the knob pulls off (it's a 6mm 'D-shaft) and the nut is 1/2in Pots: 6.3mm round, 20mm length (from pot face). 1/2in...
