Yes! The man who "started" it all. Still in love with his "basic" yet useful designs. All you need really when it comes to it. :yay:

It is lovely. What you can do. With a bunch of analog/digital modules in this habitat. Like enriching already existing analog vintage synths. Shameful self-promo is incoming -> https://soundcloud.com/mnchrme/fall-out-of-time. Have a blast and happy wiggling during the weekend! ;) :guinness: P.S. Fe...

PA Mix + Master Bundle or OTB hardware? For polishing sounds.

Hey. I am looking into these two options right now. I have a lot of plugins, couple eurorack modular systems consisting of various analog fx, dynamic processing, analog EQ, modulation fx and much more... a lot of outboard, synths... etc... mostly running my stuff through rack fx, eurorack, dirt boxe...

Re: BaxandallEQ from Konstant Lab

Yeah kind of. I’d say they would compliment each other quite well. I was using it mostly to pump up some sources or to run my Juno through a signal chain featuring this on the stereo fx in my modular. It comes quite handy when you have a final mix in your modular and you want to smooth up the edges...

Re: BaxandallEQ from Konstant Lab

The Baxandall is kind of a tone stack right? The Serge and this should compliment each other well I would think. Yeah kind of. I’d say they would compliment each other quite well. Re: BaxandallEQ from Konstant Lab

Hey guys. We were about to announce this and PanoramaMIX soon, haha. I have the module and been testing/using it for couple months now. I like it. It’s quite small, the sound and available gain is good... sound wise very precise... you can push it to very warm territory if you’d like. The thing I lo...

Re: Snazzy FX - Dronebank.

I tried replacing ribbon cable, shuffled it around my cases and tried couple different cables. It is probably as you said. I plug in a cable and sometimes I get the output 2 to output the oscillator and sometimes it is just dead silent. After some "wiggling" with the cable inside the jack it goes ba...

Snazzy FX - Dronebank.

Hello all. I have recently purchased a second hand Dronebank... looks mint... it is not the RoHS version but rather, probably the old/first one... there is a lot of soldering on the back of the module. The thing is that all oscillator outputs except 2 are working. So that means 1,3, 4, and 5 + mix o...

Snazzy FX - knob replacement.

Hey. I would like to replace some of the knobs on my Snazzy FX modules. Point being which Davies clones are they? There are so many options in terms of shafts on Thonk that I honestly have no idea. Anyone did that in the past? If so. Which ones did you order/use and how did you replace the knobs the...

Re: Dreadbox - Reflector broken?

The fader works upside down. Meaning that you increase gain by lowering the fader. That's how mine works anyway. Oh nice. Yeah the manual on their web made me wonder and as I said in its lowest position there is a good nominal output. As you stated “upside down”. Normal behavior then. I tried conta...

Looking at the very sparse manual that seems to be working as intended, it's just a level control.
So basically the slider sets the level of the output you think?

Dreadbox - Reflector broken?

Hey. Any Reflector owners here? I have recently purchased this eurorack module second hand and even though everything works - like CV, effect itself there is this gain fader which I don't understand how works. Whenever it is in the most upper position there is no sound coming out of the module. If i...

Re: Very low gain/signal within modular. Analog filters acting weird.

I remember that like 8 months ago whenever I was sending a signal out of my modular to my mixer which is placed in the middle of the chain between audio interface and modular I was getting easily into clipping but now the signal is like below -20 db on the meter or non existent. took only a handful...

Re: Very low gain/signal within modular. Analog filters acting weird.

How is your DX7 / TR-8 cabled up? DX7->mixer->audio interface.>Ableton? If so, can you try to connect the external analog HW to the portable mixer directly similarly to your DX7/TR-8, instead of through your modular, and see if the levels are better? If it is better that way for the external analog...

Re: Very low gain/signal within modular. Analog filters acting weird.

Hm. Busy with work. Sorry for the late reply. Well. Some people actually think I have a ghost in the studio. At least my friends do. When I say low gain/signal I mean everything that is analog based has low signal and it literally requires insane amounts of VCA/gain staging to get it anywhere near t...

Re: Very low gain/signal within modular. Analog filters acting weird.

I did take half of my upper row and half of my lower row out and it's acting all same. One thing I have noticed is that when I am patching between cases I am noticing an audible "discharge" in electricity. Is this normal?

Re: Very low gain/signal within modular. Analog filters acting weird.

I have a lot of modules and I constantly add new ones but power should be good. I have tried two different audio interfaces and the “droop” and filters acting all weird situation prevails. I honestly have no idea. "I have a lot of modules" - this will draw more power than a few modules. "I constant...

Re: Very low gain/signal within modular. Analog filters acting weird.

Ah well..... Not sure I should go into it if you are unsure of the "how to" part..... don't want to be responsible for any damage of you are unsure of the process. I was thinking you might be having some sort of voltage 'droop' on your case since you mentioned filters acting up too. Have you recent...

For the few Doepfer modules with a horizontally mounted header, -12v is marked jp1 on every Doepfer module I own ( either horizontally or vertically oriented)
Thanks for the tip! :)
