Thanks for posting this, it looks awesome!... Can we visit the expo without registering? There is currently some discussion of inviting the https://www.meetup.com/Boston-Modular-Synthesizers-Meetup/ group to room 112 (Fenway) on Saturday the 11th. Presumably the expo would be there as well. If this...

Has the program been finalized yet? Is it possible to register for just one day (I'll be out of town on the 10th)? Can we visit the expo without registering? The program has not been finalized. I know I'm presenting a paper and I have to submit a photo and description and stuff. I can't believe how...

Voltage Connect Conference at Berklee College of Music

For those of you that don't know, Berklee College of Music in Boston Massachusetts is hosting an electronic music conference called Voltage Connect on March 10th and 11th. In addition to the usual conference stuff like panels and papers and such, there is a large concert at the Berklee Performance C...

Sorry. I see you mentioned aggregate audio devices, but yeah, DP's implementation is very stable and useable.

there is not a single pro audio application which allows you to select more than one audio device. Digital Performer does this. Shift click multiple audio devices. Also, OS X supports something called aggregate audio devices which is allows you to use multiple audio devices as a single audio device.

I'm sorry about what happened with Volta. My pitch for Volta was to include it free with MOTU Audio Interfaces. That was the idea. You almost have to use a MOTU interface anyway, (at least that was the case at the time) The other idea that I was supportive of was to sell Volta as a direct download f...

I'm now unsure where to send my payment. Two questions for BEMI: 1) Will BEMI ship all private direct pre-orders before dealers? 2) What is the quantity of the initial production run? Will the first production run cover all the pre-orders or will they trickle out? Can you tell us about the productio...

The interesting thing, however is the signaling between modules emulates the 1v/oct standard, everything is audio rate (yes, gates, everything), so you can patch out anywhere from the software modular, out to a DC coupled audio interface, to your modular, and back again. with a complex inter-patch ...

I've been building this thing to teach with called Beap. It is another take on the idea of building a higher level patching system in max that emulates the functionality of a modular. The interesting thing, however is the signaling between modules emulates the 1v/oct standard, everything is audio ra...

On the other hand i ask myself why BEMI was not prepared. Was it random? Do they not know that the first sale peak will happen at the beginning? Why do they disregard some of their own eMail-addresses? Why don't they hire a cheap student for answering the Easel-mails? The answer could be written by...

They take Paypal, but you have to pay an additional 4%. I looked into this yesterday because the absolute highest paypal fee you can incur is 2.9% +$0.30 for the transaction (at least for transactions originating inside the US). BEMI easily qualifies for a lower fee of 2.2% simply by filling out an...

I'm searching Muffs now, but is there a good place explaining how the program cards operate? There is a link to the original manual in the current euro easel emulation thread. https://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7433&start=all here is the link itself http://ia600701.us.archive.org/33/...

I think both "purchasing@buchla.com" and "info@buchla.com" work, but dont hold me to it. I used the 1st one yesterday and it got through. :tu: Thanks, but do you mean they'd work for paypalling some moolah..? Laurie says you can use paypal, but you have to add 4% to cover the paypal fees. :moneyburn:

I've really tried to enjoy DM's newer albums (Ultra, Exciter, Playing the Angel) but they're just not very good. This coupled with what I consider to be some very bad mastering (Playing the Angel is atrocious!) doesn't make for a enjoyable listening experience. My theory: There is very little guita...

I think it is fair to make fun of how the ATT-4 is priced. When I started buying cwejman, the idea was to focus on the signal path and leave the control voltage path to cheaper modules. I used a doepfer A-129-3 for offset and attenuation until I came across a used ATT-4. I thought 'what the hell?' a...

The PEG is the first new module I have purchased in over six months. My interest was primarily in the area of tempo-locked envelopes (scaling envelope lengths over a shifting tempo with CV is messy and unreliable). The PEG does this beautifully and a whole lot more. Musically, the curve and skew con...

Are there any wigglers out there who would be interested in a group buy of this case? We'd need a commitment of at least 20* people, and at that point, we could make a run of these cases at $695 ea. That includes rails, 1 active board and two passive boards. If you're interested, post a reply and i...

So, I take it that's a Tiptop Zeus providing all the power? It has no trouble running two R modules and a bunch of solid-state? I borrowed those modules to to test that. You can run two R modules on one active board. Maybe not much else. You can run a whole 9U plus one R module with one active boar...
