I think it is a good idea to keep all mutable modules on top, since their jacks are near the bottom of the panel. This keeps cables out of the way of pots, so you can reach the controls easier. Usually I keep modules of the same kind close to each other (e.g. clock sources/multiplier/divider) since ...

So if I get the Nucleo-STM32L053 there is a USB connector on that board which I connect to from my computer, right? And I only need a cable from the Nucleo-STM32L053 to Braids to flash it? yep, it;ll work as a standalone programmer/debugger. you'll need a cable though, resp. some way to connect the...

Would you be so kind an link those inexpensive alternatives for me? Can I buy them from a shop in Germany? I'm on a Mac by the way (if that matters for deciding which to get). re JTAG/SWD, in the < 25 $ range, basically i guess there's ST-Link/V2, the ST discovery boards, and the ST 'nucleo' dev bo...

I'd also be happy to sort out the programming toolchain and program the chips. (He says blithely) The processor isn't socketed, it is soldered to the board, and things are set up to flash it in-situ, using a serial (FTDI) interface, or a JTAG debugger/programmer. The FTDI method is fine unless you ...

Post of the month. Thanks for this one! Trapezoid with off time (delayed) looping patch This patch has all the functionality of the EMS trapezoid and vc control of additional parameters. sustain = on in EMS terminology. As you might know a quirk/hidden feature of Maths is that when Ch1 or Ch4 is tri...

Also, watch the settings of your Follow parameter. Set to full CW for 1:1 pitch of both oscillators (provided they are tuned to the same frequency and nothing is plugged into 1/Oct of VCO A).

Lemur to various CV outs?

I'm looking for a working method of putting out various control signals from Lemur to my modular. I'd need like ~6-7 CVs (for a 'poor' mans 223e) output. The source would be an iPad and destination would be my eurorack modular. What options do I have hardware wise? Can MIDI supply a fast enough thro...
