Re: Clouds Blend Button Problem?

Mode changes are done by holding one of the other buttons, not blend.. no? no he's right, its by holding Blend for like 2 seconds Hi there everyone, I'm new here. Did my best to use the search function and see if any solutions to my particular issue have yet been covered and everything I'm coming u...

Re: Utility modules that make you happy?

Intellijel Quadratt: to attenuate and offset CV, also to send out pure voltage to other modules. So useful I have 2 of these WMD Sl3kt: love this 3x sequential switch. The obvious use case is switching between 2 sequencers. But I also love sending it 2 different clock rates and switching between tha...

Re: Thoughts on Euro LPGs, please?

One thing to keep in mind is with vactrols, no 2 sound identical. Takaab is great for the price. However its a bit too slow to get the super short percussive sounds. LxD sounds great but man, I've heard 4 and they are all totally different. Mine has insane bleedthrough but I haven't found one that s...

Re: Is Divkid øchd the best Batumi alternative in less HP?

thanks for the responses so far guys. And yeah I know it cant replace Batumi's functionality. But I should have clarified better that I'm looking for the best alternative in a very small footprint. I only have 4hp left! :) part of me though realizes I already have 8 triangle LFOs from Pam's NW if I ...

Re: FX AID - multi audio effect module

The FXAid version sounds good in the demo but honestly it doesn't compare to the real module sadly. I did a side by side and they are quite different. Going to have to keep my module Actually it can closely mimic 99% of the Lo-Fi Junky sound. The compressor has the same threshold and time parameter...

Re: FX AID - multi audio effect module

its supposed to give that unstable pitch you would find from an old tape machine, ala Boards of Canada. I wouldn't exactly call it a compressor, its more like a "make low-fi" maker Yeah I wouldn't call it a compressor per se. And the end result is "low-fi" but I think it's helpful to break that dow...

Re: FX AID - multi audio effect module

that lo-fi junky FX, what is it exactly ? (the function it does) It's basically a smashed compressor with a tape warble. ahh, its a compressor  thanks i tryed it, i had no clue what it is   :hmm: , but how is a tape warble coming into a compressor ? edit: ahhh ok, it seems to be a l...

Re: New intellijel wavefolder/crossfader: bifold

I'm having way too much fun getting to know this module, and am thinking about making some demos. Does anyone have any requests for things they'd like to hear? Bifold on STO would be great, would love to hear how it compares to a DPO Okay, so I’m kind of a noob, but I really want to add a wavefolde...

The Klavis Logica XT is 4 HP and quite flexible for the size. It is more than a pure logic processor.

EDIT: Oh noes, it is 5 HP. My bad.
oh man, this would have been a great addition to my rack. thanks anyway!

Re: best 4hp utility module ?

As for 4hp utility, I don't know if it's the "best" in any sense, but I am loving having a Acid Rain Technology Switchblade in my system - 3 channels of 2-input switches, with a gate input for each channel, and toggle/momentary option. i use it a lot for simple muting duties, switching between 2 se...

it's going to be way easier to calibrate w/ the immediate feedback you'll get from a scope...i'd recommend waiting until you have that hooked up and then get back into it.
I can see a live Scope by piping the Audio into VCV rack :)

a scope is really imperative to set this up correctly.
