You could also use a WMD SL3KT. Small footprint and quite flexible

An FX Aid might be a nice addition to a guitar oriented set up

4775BB76-87C0-4F33-91C5-0A5614464758.jpeg Hi! My first post here :) I’m building my euro setup since a year, right now I’m building custom racks to fit all modules (most of them are now outside of the racks). I control mostly everything from Deluge - by fh-2 with expanders. Now I’m focusing on gett...

I’m also tempted to remove the plastic window but not too keen to leave exposed. I’m looking for a replacement window in clear color but doesn’t seem to be as easy to find

I'm quite interested in getting an XVI desktop. Does anyone know of any European retailer that would have these?

Re: disting mk4 firmware 4.8 - LFOs don't do what I expect
Sorry to revive an old thread. I have a disting Mk4 which i just upgraded to v4.17. I'm setting this to the clockable LFO and when pressing the Z knob, i don't get the option to change parameters. The knob works for all other algorithms except for B6. Any thoughts? Never had any issues with this mod...

Re: RML Electron Fuzz Custom CV
Ok got it. The thing is that I have a distorted signal but when I turn the bleed to the left I don’t get the original undistorted sound - just silence. Not sure if this is normal

RML Electron Fuzz Custom CV
Hi all I recently got a second hand Electron Fuzz which seems to be a quite a well regarded distortion FX box. I have been experimenting with it and am noticing some strange behaviour. When the FX button is pressed, turning the bleed out knob all the way to the left does not produce any sound at all...

Re: Expert Sleepers disting EX
Hey all, when using SD MULTISAMPLE is there a way to change the input mode to have NO pitch or gate inputs, i've checked the cv mappings and it doesn't seem like you can turn off the cv gate pair... I mostly input with midi so input 2 and 4 are being held hostage! would be cool to be able to turn t...

Re: Gear identification help
Not forgetting the Ikea Öldåligtdftermiddag shelving. Wouldn't it be sensible for Muffs to have just one gear identification thread? Yes that would be great. In fact i was looking for a general gear ID thread as it seemed obvious there would be one, but couldn't find it. What about that silver box ...

Gear identification help
Hi all
Would anyone please be able to help me identify this gear in the pic? It’s from the Ableton studio shots - but couldn’t put my finger on what it is.
Thanks

Would you even consider getting a Digitone? I got one recently and it’s quite something. Integrates really well with my eurorack set up. Might be worth considering unless you absolutely want something in the rack

Thanks for the quick reply.
Would a Roland UM One Mk2 work as well? There’s a local supplier who has in stock but I read that some people had issues due to active sensing

Re: cv ocd
Hi all! I just bought a new CV.OCD and now just realised that my audio interface does not seem to have a MIDI out - so having some trouble figuring out how to transfer Sysex files to reconfigure the box. My interface is a MOTU 8A for what it's worth. I also have an Elektron Model Cycles but doubt i ...

Re: Playable Sequencer
Thanks for the detailed explanation! Agree that pattern switching does feel a bit awkward. Even though i have only had 3 weeks of experience with Elektron, i've had a fair share of situations where tracks fell out of sync. Other than that i am quite happy with Elektron's sequencing abilities.

Re: Playable Sequencer
Westlicht Performer. It’s a bit divey, and a bit deep. I’m still working with it at quite a surface level, tbh, but the potential is there, no doubt. I second this. It's more playable than an elektron sequencer, that is westlicht got everything right where elektron didn't. It's got transposition, n...

Does anyone know whether the Performer allows for micro timing on sequences? I had a look through the manual and get impression that notes must be quantised to the grid?

there's nothing special about the cables. These are the same thing I have in the shop https://www.amazon.de/AZDelivery-Jumper-Arduino-Raspberry-Breadboard/dp/B07KYHBVR7/ref=sr_1_10?dchild=1&keywords=0.1%22+jumpers&qid=1596479456&sr=8-10 Thanks for the pointer. I’ll make sure to grab a few of these....

I would suggest adding a Pamela’s New Workout in your system. It had a ton of functions including random signals, quantised clock events, and now also logic that makes it an excellent companion
