Thanks. That was it. The black line corresponds to the -12 redstrip. I installed it and powered up. Everything is fine.

Re: Headphone Output without a specific Headphone module

You can buy little mono mini jack (male) to stereo mini jack (female) adapters, and use those as a cheap and cheerful way to connect to the output of modules....just use attenuation before turning it up! Wow! Really that simple? Never thought of that! Great news. Will check that in comparison to my...

Re: Bastl x Casper: WAVER

My Waver just arrived but i'm not sure which side to position the power connector's red strip. Should I position the red-strip side of the 10 pin connector facing the top of the module or facing the bottom? I couldn't find anything printed on the circuit board or in the manual to indicate the corre...

Re: Noise Engineering Loquelic Iteritas

Well NE announced a new range of modules at NAMM, including a stereo vco and stereo reverb....both of which can have new algorithms added via firmware updates....so it could be something to do with that? :despair: I doubt the new vco will replace the Loquelic like for like though, so it’s definitely...

Hello! Any sense of when places like Perfect Circuit and Detroit Modular might be restocked w/ Arbhars? Thank you! I would like to know for the UK as well. I've got a VERY small batch coming tomorrow - one left that you can preorder on the site now if you're quick! 2 Lubadhs up for grabs too :sb:

Re: New FX modules from Tiptop Audio - ZVERB ECHOZ Z5000

These look mighty sexy. But! I keep reading end-of-chain and the end of my chain is definitely stereo. So I‘d have to sum the chain to mono to route it through any of the three FX, use an extra mixer to send the original dry stereo and the new stereo FX signal into separate stereo channels and mix ...

Re: Manther Growl vs Atlantis vs System80 810 vs Erica B.L "Basslines fight"

You know what? It’s actually surprisingly hard sometimes to get “plucky” bass lines out of simple subtractive synthesis alone. You always seem to be missing something....often in the midrange and harmonics, that you would expect to find in say a bass guitar or similar. I’ve actually found that phase...

Re: What sparked your entry into eurorack?

Buying a new Mac Pro in 2009 as my “last hurrah” to see if I could actually get into writing music again after a 5 year layoff, post my “career” in the music industry imploding. Got tons of plugins (too many) but despite having all the fancy Native Instruments stuff, and loads of modern cutting edge...

Re: VCF-74 out of stock, but new MK2 version being manufactured

Dang... Looks like it is totally out of production at the distributors too now. Their other modules are still available and at discounted prices. Unfortunately, those were incredibly slow sellers first time round so I'm not sure I'll be grabbing any. Loved the filter though....

Re: VCF-74 out of stock, but new MK2 version being manufactured

Hi there, any idea when these will be available again in Schneiders or Mattech? I’ll likely grab some more next time I restock at Darkplace, although that may be a little while off still. Actually had no idea VSL had stopped producing modules, although I was aware they were thinking about it. A sha...

Re:

If pre-order should be combined with anything it's "out of stock", no? By definition, shops where you can pre-order a module do not have said module in stock. Still a great service, by the way. Very useful. :goo: Not always quite that simple behind the scenes. For example, I can put items as “in st...

The description of the muta Jovis says that it is geared up for muting gates and triggers. I'm not sure how good it would be on audio. Divkid's MUTES has made it into a TON of cases for mixing duties, and there is also the Future Sound Systems STUMM: https://matttechmodular.co.uk/product/stumm/ Like...
