Re: A somewhat selfish list of things I'd like to see Tom make
Hahaha, I was just kidding! Made me realise It's actually kinda hard to think about something new or way out there... +1 for phaser and freq shifter. Since I really like the EQ, I'd be curious about a mono compressor (possibly dirty or characterful, or with the option to be).

Noise and s&h, slew, and most essentially, a vector-soliton resonator.

Re: Multiplier - polarizing VCA
Well I'd be curious with anything, slow and audio rate modulator (3-4 octave higher than carrier). Random pitch on both carrier and modulator. Slow modulator sweep. I'd really like tonal stuff too. I'm very curious about this module! Also 2 modulator!

Re: I love Vermona
DSR is killer. I've lusted for one for years and bought one recently. It's magical at what it does. It sounds like you put the sound in a tiled room, it got a special sense of space in stereo mode. You hear it's a physical reverberation, not a dsp thing. My only wish is that is would also have small...

Good place to buy shakuhachi!!!
Hi! I'm looking to buy a shakuhachi. I'm a beginner so I just want a good instrument to learn with. Nothing fancy but something that sounds decent. I only have recorder experience. Well that's it! Thanks for your suggestions!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7s-wXZWT5o&ab_channel=Yatsugatake21_4K_...

Easel command pulser and env voltage offset
Hi! I've just received a easel command. I'm amazed at the sheer amount of timbre and texture you can get from that thing, really fun to work with. So I noticed that the enveloppe generator and the pulser both have some kind of offset when modulating pitch of the oscillators. When they're not running...

Wow thanks for all the answers, it's really interesting stuff. I've plugged A LOT of outputs together by mistakes and nothing bad ever happened!

Re: Does a 5u "serge" setup make sense?
STG Soundlabs has an active multiple which also has a Unity Mixer on board. You can then plug two outputs together that way. Admittedly the cost becomes a factor quickly as those active mults are not cheap but they are indispensable in the right circumstances. http://www.stgsoundlabs.com/products/m...

Re: Does a 5u "serge" setup make sense?
Instead something bad may happen. A Multiple is really nothing more than 4 jacks creatively wired together. I knew that, but somehow thought it was possible in serge format! So just mult would do the job since I wouldn't miss any other possibilities. From page 15 of the 1976 Serge manual: The one s...

Re: Does a 5u "serge" setup make sense?
Hahaha! In serge you can also passively mix stuff if I'm correct. Like two ouput stacked in a single input. Can you do that with mult, sendind two output in a mult so both signal are mix/mult? I don't know if that make sense...

Does a 5u "serge" setup make sense?
Hi! I just left euroland and I've always wanted to try 5u. I was wondering if a serge setup would make sense in 5u? I've been eyeing LWSS stuff for a while and I was thinking going with something like this for a starter system. Let me know what you think, specialy if you had experience with both 5u ...
