Have you tried Rings? Can be either beautiful or hideous. Also Mikrophonie/Ears...can be used as a sound source, CV source, or a line level boost.

Wasn't a big fan of the Benjolin, but obviously just comes down to taste.

I hate threads like these in which the OP makes broad generalisations and feels like the world needs to smell his/her binary diarrhea. I love what Hainbach or Amulets do, I use plenty of tape loops in my music, and I can assure you it doesn't sound anything like what both aforementioned artists do ...

Also - I know people like the 90deg cable for being low profile, but has anyone made (or, relevant to the thread, has Zlob possibly looked into making) stackable cables with a jack similar to the Tiptop stackables but with a 90deg cord coming out? I could very well be ignorant of some IP issues her...

I am asking this question because I have both versions of the 4ms noise swash (standalone and module), and somehow the standalone version is much more controllable and sounds better (to me) than the eurorack. They are different. interesting - my experience was the opposite. Loved the standalone but...

Have you tried dropping a condenser mic into the bell of the sax ala Borbetomagus? Or scrounged up any interviews w John Butcher? He does a ton of on the fly processing.
