Re:

Never listened to Sleaford Mods, but they're kind of old codgers compared with Arab Strap back at Philophobia time - they were young then, figuring a lot out. Haven't kept track more recently - but still got their 1st LP, inc First Big Weekend (joy still). I think it was the lyrics that set things ...

Ok, this may sound kinda stupid but is there anyone out there making warm sounding techno with a lot of nature elements (field recordings etc)? There probably is but first can you explain what you mean by techno because it's a term more misused now than it ever has been. Obviously the term "techno"...

M Shutak - The Widow's House (Ciat Lonbarde content)

Here's an album by a new project that me and my best mate released last week. Tapes are flying out the door which is pretty amazing considering we hadn't done any promo outside of our Instagram account. "Melding piano, Ciat Lonbarde electronics, fiddle, toys, transistor radios and found sounds to cr...

Having fun with two different delay lines (thanks M-Air) with my coco, but wondering if anyone works with koma fx kit, as it looks like a nice addition to a coco/sidrax combo I don't use the FX but I use the regular Field Kit with my Coco all the time. Great for sending a submix of electro acoustic...

I wanna party with you man!!

Recently I've been running my Sidrax through a Line 6 DL4 and then into my Cocoquantus. It gives me a chance to have 3 loops on the go for even my re layers.

Have you started to modulate the VCA? The resulting movement should explain why the stereo spread on Ciat-Lonbarde is part of its acoustic body. Had great fun earlier today running a Sidrax loop (recorded in to a Line 6 DL4) into the Cocoquantus and having various Quantussy outputs modulating the i...

I really wish there were attenuators for those grey inputs (or even mute/kill switch for the inputs) Look here in the DIY section, this is very easy to build, maybe in an cigar box what fits well to the CL instruments... For attenuators you have to check the best way to go: with ground or without, ...

Re: Should I become a COCO-LOCO head?

should I spend the rest of my music money on the coco, or should I first finish my modular rig? Your modular is anyway never ready, so use the money for the coco and a banana-to-3,5mm box :guinness: This x 100. I quit buying eurorack and decided to focus on some synths and some CL stuff instead. Do...

In theory the Tet should be able to provide a triangle wave by adjusting the rise and fall, but in practice I'm not finding that smoother Sidrax sound. The Tet definitely has a brighter wave with more harmonics. Full disclosure; I'm a fairly new Sidrax/Tetrax owner, so take this with a grain of sal...

Thank you! I guess the Sidrax is pretty similar? Sidrax doesn't have independent control of Rise/Fall, it's just one glitch and one pitch knob. The color coding on the jacks is the same. Does this mean the Tetrax is capable of triangle waves like the Sidrax as well as saw? Always thought the Tetrax...
