Right, I will try that as soon as I get a chance. Its not so mich that it follows the keyboard, as the Pro solos.
They are, by the way, set to the exact same settings, as are the two MKE.

Re: My oscillators are bullies
From the description, it sounds like this may be an issue related to the internal Sample & Hold circuitry in one of the keyboards. Possibly a capacitor needs to be replaced. Some analog CV keyboards use an internal S/H circuit that is triggered with each note played to maintain the voltage after th...

Re: My oscillators are bullies
The problem remains, but this weekend I´ve tried to do some more troubleshooting. First, the problem in short: 1)I tune in an A/440hz, which usually means I have to adjust down from about 442-443hz 2)After a minute or two, the oscillators are down to 429-432hz, so I turn them up 8-10hz 3)Another few...

Re: Conjured Circuits - JP6 Multimode VCF (MU)
So extremely fond of my JP6 filter, that I couldn´t help recording a short clip. This is pretty much how my sessions look and sound like nowadays, when the band can´t meet. I put together a rythm, a bass sequence, controlled with pedals, and a nonsense sequence to fill in the gaps (partially random)...

Re: Post your NEW 5U Audio and Videos here
Coming from you, kindredlost, that means a lot. I could, perhaps, have designed it somewhat better. Less cubic, but I didn´t have the patience. Apologies for the poor sound quality, which instead I hope may have disguised some of my English. The Sony support tells me my camera doesn´t manage sound s...

Re: Post your NEW 5U Audio and Videos here
I won´t be bold enough to think I´ve come up with something totally new, but there might be some wigglers who haven´t thought of this. Perhaps it´ll give one or two another perspective on how trigger sequencers can be used by those of us in some cases controlling the modular with bass pedals. I abso...

Re: Post pics of your 5U format setup!
"Driving the last spike", to quote Genesis. I know I´ve said this before, on page 84, but today I filled the last gap in the system. It will not grow any further. Whatever statistics say about us, I won´t let my modular expand so mush as one U. There are a few of them I´ll possibly exchange, and I k...

Re: Post pics of your 5U format setup!
I´d rather keep my power supply inside, and I´ll probably won´t be able to avoid getting a third QPS1.

Re: Post pics of your 5U format setup!
The bottom two do, a QPS1 each. The other four are connected to them, in pairs. This has been an issue for some time now, enough power. The power modules are in the back, which means they gave to drive 66U:s each on the front.

Present system. 2U empty spaces, that´ll probably be filled with a M564.

Re: Conjured Circuits - JP6 Multimode VCF (MU)
Can´t seem to manage either pictures or videos these Days, so I´m trying with a link instead. Today, I stripped the whole system on its cables, and started all over. This doesn´t happen often. I patched the JP6 up and focused on it. It turned out to be a video. There are three oscillators in it, Q10...

Re: Conjured Circuits - JP6 Multimode VCF (MU)
Spent an hour with the JP6 today. I put it next to my LWSS Discrete ladder filter, since I thought they´d get along well, and I think I was right. The warm and fat DLF still is my favourite, close to the Minimoog, but I think the JP6 also has a warmth to it, combined with a certain crisp sharpness. ...

Arrived today. Will hopefully get to test it tomorrow, but first impression is:
Silent, but not so smooth knobs. All in all, I like them.

Re: Q111 question (5U)
Got it to work, at least halfway. I set sustain to 0, and thought it would pan back to the first filter. It didn't.
Anyway, this wasn't as fun as I thought, and probably not as useful.

Re: Q111 question (5U)
Just to be clear: Counterclockwise, which would be minus. Then the EG increases the value during the envelope, and therby pans the signal clockwise.... eh?

Could be, Dave. You´ve been right many times before. I haven´t.
The simplé solution might be the best. If it works, I´ll have something to do the whole upcoming weekend.

Re: Conjured Circuits - JP6 Multimode VCF (MU)
A CC JP6 is now on its way. It took me half a year to push the order button. Really looking forward to get my hands on it, hoping it´ll brighten up November a bit.

Re: Q111 question (5U)
Many suggestions, thanks a lot, all of you. The Gene splicer, hard to see that it does what I want, but I could be wrong (I usually am). The .com Q109, did change that jumper, but realized I had no use for it then. The thing is, the ADSR would have to go from + to - during the envelope. Continuing t...

Q111 question (5U)
I´ve used my Q111 for a long time, mostly in pan mode, panning the out signals to my Q107 and a C101 filters. Of coarse I began acquanting myself to the Q111 with the help of LFO:s, to control the fade or pan. This led me to think of other ways of controlling it. What if I want an EG to control it, ...

Re: My oscillators are bullies
Well, I´ve got one krisp1 Overdrive II and one Deep Equinox phaser. Perhaps they can sweep away all possible chances of sensing oscillators being out of tune. Another idea, since the studio is close to work. I could stop by in the morning, and turn on the modular. It should be well warmed up by 5 pm...

Re: My oscillators are bullies
Okey, not sure I have that time, but I´ll try to wait a bit longer from now on.
Perhaps I should squeeze in all oscillators in the two power supply cabinets then?

My oscillators are bullies
I´m celebrating ten years of 5U modular ownership in December. A long time, but also a decade that past quickly. So fast that I missed to check on a few basic things about modulars. Warming up and tuning oscillators, for instance. Now, to begin with, these are my oscillators: -7 Dotcom Q106CRS -2 Do...

Re: Planned System Evaluation
Just taking a short look at them, I´m thinking two things: -As you´ve mentioned yourself, there are a lot of doubles, tripples…. Spontaneously, why on Earth have two overdrive in a 33U system. I love mine, but would never you two simultaneously. Some have two Q107 and Q150, but usually in large syst...

Re: AD, AR or ADSR ?
You´re welcome, Thalassa. Unfortunately, it´s arrival coincided with a two week long break, due to us moving the studio. On monday, I´ll hopefully get a two-three hour long time window to patch everything up again, and to try those more advanced combinations on the C111.
