Re: Behringer: practices, ethics, morals and legitimacy.

Cheap clones from Boog might push the gear industry for more innovation. Synth should be more powerful, flexible, and modulable. Now the cpu power of Ipad is as good as a Pc. Mobile devices now have delicate and refined touch-screen with wireless connections. Why the synth industry does not advance ...

The Doepfer joystick might be too big for my small hand. Plus I am struggling how to control that extra wheel with any two of my fingers.

Did not expect this. Only UAD has the resources for such a big launch. LUNA looks interesting. Looking for more info of its summing function but honestly I will not replace it with my rack summing mixers. No way. I will wait for next BF sales to fetch a few haha.

RIP the boutique industry.

I read $35/module, not sure if true.
IMHO the market of DIY utiliy modules is likely to suffer most. The current Eurorack market is a bit too crowded with average products and now Behringer comes to cleaning.

Re: NAMM 2020 megathread

So the eurorack trend for 2020 is stereo! By 2030 we might have modules with quad outputs I hope there will be more touchscreen control for Eurorack, with firmware capable of flexible modulation matrix and physical CV I/O. In the last two, three years the power of modular chips are better and bette...

We need more synth developers to design products that can 'talk' to each other. More CV I/O for inter-modulation universe!

A quick google brought this up:

If this was true, with prices so low, many people might not bother doing DIY. Still a good thing though. Competition competition.

My experiences with Tube modules are not positive. They may sound half-exciting but still quite raw. Power consumption could be an headache too. Investing a bit more in a 500-series modules at the end of signal chain would make more sense to me.
