Sorry to say it, when I was spending tens of thousands of dollars with Shawn, he was friendly and attentive. When I needed a receipt so I could get support for an Arturia sequencer, it took him months and seemed like a giant hassle. Huge turn off! I like the guy, and was hugely disappointed that he ...

My only experience with DSI has been the purchase of a Prophet 12 and Pro 2. The Pro 2 needed a new keyboard assembly, and I needed assistance on an OS update for the P12. In both instances the response was fast and professional.

BTW - both synths are stellar creations!

As much as I love the Nord I wish it was on another stand lol.. the red just fights against the awesome vibe the 37 and prophet h...

Random improvisations with the Turing Machine vs. A149.

Four early studies in a series of 1 or 2 track improvisations (Electronic compositions) utilizing parts of the current modular synthesizer: http://www.modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/24170 This first two rely upon a fully expanded Turing Machine for pitch selection. It derives it's trigger pattern from...

Great sounds CaptainMab! FS1R is amazing, and as has been stated, really benefits from the midi editor. I hope more rack mounts do what Roland has done with the Integra 7, which is to have a wireless Ipad app for control.

We Euro folks are a fortunate group! I have the e350, which I consider a classic, and the Cyclebox II, which I also love though I'm still quite new to it. Personally, I don't consider flipping toggle switches to be menu diving (no LCD), but it is surely deep.

I think the album is full of light and beauty. He's obviously not going for dense, sophisticated, and highly energetic. Taking on its own terms I think it's a very enjoyable, laid-back album. I don't find it dark or sad. I don't give a crap about Scientology.

I like and admire U2. I like the new album. I wonder how many people would turn down the deal that they were offered? I guess if a band lasts long enough it becomes quite fashionable to trash them.

Haven't used the Vermona, but I couldn't live without the Modcan. So many uses I've just begun to explore. I really like my Livewire Vulcan with Mindmeld and the Synth-Tech e355, but the Quad LFO is tops INHO.

I changed all the LEDs on my doepfer modules for all kind of different colours. Didn't do anything other than changing the LEDs themselves... no resistors or anything like that. Everything is fine and works just as it did before, except that its much prettier now :-) One thing I learned is that its...

Swapping out different colored LEDs?

Is it possible or even advisable to swap out LEDs on euro rack modules? I've got a little too much red going on for my taste, and would love to plug in some more blue and green. The Doepfer site often shows blue LEDs, but the modules all come with red. Any thoughts on this?

Cwejman DMF-2. Quite versatile and smooth, with a nice distortion if you want it. LPF and band pass, STEREO! or dual mono, and very affordable for one of Mr. Cwejman's modules.
