@Lakbra: Hey mate, nice to read you! Hey Wein!! Really looking forward to being an active member of the community again, hopefully I can contribute some sounds soon too. Thanks for the tip, if I have $£$£ I'll try and get some of those nice mods on the D1000 from Neil as well, really impressive wor...

Lakbra – check my posts above. As far as i know they should still be available. (And as I mention above, changing pins and plugs is really simple work, especially with an AC adapter, since polarity doesn't matter.) Hope that helps! G Thank you for your response Girial, I guess I was hoping that som...

Quite frankly, you should not have ordered from a US dealer. Do you hate Post Modular for some reason? Does Post Modular ship the D-1000 with a UK PSU? I certainly don't hate Post Modular but they didn't have the D-1000 in stock or even list it on their site. Sorry to revive this old thread :help: ...

I just want to jump on the praise AH wagon here and mention that Shawn and AH always offer above par service that's really hard to come by these days, they really stand out to me, especially in the Euro world. I really appreciate their MO. Email communication is super quick and straight to the point...

I've got it down to 34HP. It feels like the best compromise for maximum sensor area while keeping the jacks separated. Just a thought: if the Vectr can go down to 32hp, then it'd fit in a Doepfer 'Beauty Case'. http://www.analoguehaven.com/doepfer/minicase/ Beauty Case wouldn't be a particularly su...

Wait, so you're powering 4 R modules with a 1.4A max bus board? I know you have the TT 4.5A brick but the busboard can only take up to 1.4A like the powered TT studio bus ones, right? Good to hear you didn't have any problems, but, aren't you afraid to stress your bussboard requiring it 2A after war...

Based on my experience; in a modular synth "patches" are best reproduced/replayed/repatched in concept rather than equaling the same sounds over and over like a fixed architecture preset synth. What I mean by this is that I feel the concept behind a patch is less ephemeral than the sounds that patch...

It's totally normal yet totally shouldn't be. I've found that when I'm wearing flip flops it doesn't feel me touching it and gets finicky, then I put shoes on and it works a lot better. If I'm barefoot I have to put a rug underneath my feet and then it works a lot better. I think this has to do with...

My René doesn't like it when I wear flip flops... :waah: Other than that, I love it! You can run up to 3 powered bus boards per PSU/2hp access module on the tip top studio power system, each bus board providing up to 1.2-1.4 amps, which should total around 3.6 amps max for the configuration. In 6u you would probably just need 2 powered bus boards, the cincon power brick and a zeus a...
