Re: Midibox seq v4+

Perhaps your midibox / analog outputs were earlier versions.? I have 12 bit DAC’s (64Y200), os 4.095, great for modulation, not precise enough for play notes. Best result with midi>cv converter like brain (I'm not the only one). For exemple "MAX525 DACs feature a sightly better performance than 64Y...

Re: Midibox seq v4+

why did you prefer Hexinverter?
Because in the world of midi to cv converter it is cheap, configurable, work great, few HP.
I replaced the midibox seq and the mutant brain with the keystep pro, some bugs, but better suited for me.

Re: Midibox seq v4+

Hi, I have used it for several years, lot of possibility, but CV out does not work correctly (lack of precision). Finaly more accuracy with midi>cv module like Hexinverter Mutant Brain. Why i replaced it? Because live recording need of improvement (mostly for chords). It's very powerful sequencer (8...

only working with Erica modules
Whaaa! that's incredible !
For sync i sold all modules wanted work as master clock (like pamela).. my master clock are midibox seq v4 for the moment,
great "reliability", and metron work great as slave/reset mode (for one time i'm happy!)

Re: Manhattan Analog VCA

Big fan of Manhattan Analog's design philosophy. Me too, I prefer it to tallin, it's just a simple VCA with two cv in and potards quality as usual.. Tallin have two cv in and potards quality...but don't like expo or linear cv in (most of time i want linear for amp, and linear for velocity). I have ...

Re: EuroRackAttack?

If i remember Rackattack give FM ? So One VCO with FM input, 1 VCO for modulation, 1 utilities with 2 Attenuinverter(+offset if possible), 2 envoloppes, 1 filter, 1 VCA .. Estimate 6hp VCO1 4hp VCO2 4hp Atten 8hp Env 4hp VCF 4hp VCA, so 32 HP for one voice, if more, quadrax , tallin are good choices...

Re: EuroRackAttack?

Like it a lot "RackAttack" but it's very specific synth, ultra short envelopps, great matrix on pitch/filter, but non friendly on the original, more more time for editing.. on modular it's possible, lot of hp, but possible. x2 offset/attenuinverter for all voice for exemple (like S.P.O)for pitch/fil...

Re: Rossum Electro-Music Assimil8or

Hi Guys, So i got my Assimil8or today but right after power it on I can hear a high pitch sound coming from it (with nothing plugged it) This is happening on two different power supplies. This sound is also coming on the main output with the sound. I have tried also connecting it alone without any ...

Re: Stepper acid reset

I used most of the time "play" output of intellijel umidi (constant gate when sequencer playback), but when i wanted
a reset I used a gate track.

Re: Stepper acid reset

if i remember, play/stop work with constant gate signal. Try to send 8 step gate length, if the sequencer loop at the 8" step that's good.

Re: How to use tetrapad

As control voltage mode it's powerful (random fonction  )
As chord it's intresting but need tete expender for record perf (same as drum pad mode)
As fader for pattern evolution (better with attenuverter like spo, 321, etc)

lot of possibility, obviously it depends on the config CVable

i use cv (5v but better with 10v or +5/-5) to linear AM (+1.00) an same cv to exponential AM (+1.00)
i put level at -13 db
