It's double wide 168hp, so 27U and 336hp.

Who created these cases?
2egress.com buiit it custom. The builder's name is Brock and he does unbelievable work and attention to every detail. Highly recommend.

Re: Post pics of your euro setup!

My adult playground. insanely cool Rack. but: i can´t make out how wide it is. How wide are the rails of that beatiful biggy ? ( cm ? hp ? ) ok, i got now, its kind of two racks side by side in one. The manufacturers page just referns to 168hp. But the big 27Us shown, are kind of double width. But ...

Re: Post pics of your euro setup!

It was an Nw2s balanced outs module going into an Apogee Symphony MkII, that's a Midas M32 mixer under the case but I was using it to bring other synths into, and then a Dante card to connect it to the DAW. Just replaced it with an Expert Sleepers ES-9 and ES-5 combo but I cannot figure out how to g...

I just got the Typhoon to try to replicate the Grayscale Supercell in less HP, and so far it seems great. Knobs are a ittle cramped but I suppose that was the point, so I can hardly complain about it.

Cubase and ES-5 - how to send clock to modular?

I realize this is probably a very basic question, but I'm losing my mind trying to figure out how to send clock from Cubase to my modular through the ES-5 with Silent Way, which is connected to an ES-9. The Silent Way manual is incomprehensible (at least to me) and what I think should work is genera...

Re: Firmware Update Notifications?

I use a website change checker for Android called Web Alert - put in the firmware page url, tell it how often to check, and it will tell you when the page changes and show you what changed. Similar apps exist for Mac and Windows, and probably iOS (although I haven't checked on that, pardon the pun).

Re: New E370 Quad VCO Frimware V1.4

Can I resurrect this thread to ask for some help with calibration in FW1.4? I put in a -1V for the first step followed by 2V for the second step. It accepts the calibration as in range, but the resulting notes are way off, in some cases by two octaves or more (and it's not exactly off as though it w...

nw2s into +4dbu or -10dbv?

I can't find the specs on the nw2s 16 output module - does anyone have a recommendation whether to record it into a converter set to +4dbu or -10dbv for optimal quality?

Ah, I misunderstood and thought you were saying the opposite - that an external mixer wasn't fundamentally suitable for use with eurorack. I've been using a combination of eurorack utility mixers and submixers plus an external mixing board, and I've found that to be more workable than the compromise...

mdoudoroff I'm wondering why you say an outboard mixer is fundamentally incompatible with eurorack. Is it just the lack of cv control, or is it because of something else? After reading the recent responses in this thread, I'm curious to find out what the 'ideal' stereo mixer would be for you guys? O...

How to install the shelf?

I just got the 2u shelf, but I can't understand how to install it. It looks like it uses the hex screws from the original case to attach it, but those screws are too short to pass through the shelf width + the case width. Am I misunderstanding how it's installed, or is mine missing some longer screw...

I have to agree with the negative sentiments expressed so far. Yes, I don't plan to plug anything into the D-2000 power supply, it's not worth the risk and it's just as easy to use an external sequencer anyway.
Thank you for your quick responses on this and great customer support, by the way, and it's an amazing instrument.

I'm sending it back to Metasonix, he was very quick to respond and ask me to send it for repair, so that's good. The power supply is definitely the right one and it was the original packed with the unit so I don't think that's the issue, but who knows. At least it's some consolation that it sounded ...
