Traktor on an ES-9?

Here's something *way* out left field - has anyone tried running Traktor DJ software off of an ES-9?

Re: Expert Sleepers ES-9 USB Audio Interface

Anyone know if the ES-9 is multi-client ASIO?

Re: Qu-Bit Bloom

This is clever! What's the s&h used for? The S&H is there to send the pitch to the oscillator only if the gate from Compare 2 is high. If it isn't high then the pitch remains the same -- the oscillator essentially ignores the pitch from Bloom. Again, very creative - thanks. If I could give you a co...

Re: FX AID - multi audio effect module

this is probably a good example of the Happy Nerding FX aid reverb, using it it heavily in this patch to create the ambiance. only one of the voices/melodies (the one that comes in around 0:20) is going through it. its just THAT LUSH sounding! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_6gbXFftRE That is ind...

Re: Qu-Bit Bloom

Is there a way to tamp down on the sequence's range when traveling down branches? Sometimes it octaves the same note multiple times and gets really jarring, especially with bass. So I spent some time yesterday thinking of a way to overcome this, and think I found a solution with Joranalogue's Compa...

Re: Noob question Octone

But why, in all the videos, is this not case? The pitch controls are at various positions and no sound come out of the individual gates if they are “turned off?” Because the gates trigger the envelopes for the VCA of the Eon. No gates = no envelope triggers = no opening envelopes = envelopes are cl...

Re: Best randon generator for musical phrases

I challenge the notion that "random" == "musical". I've pretty tried most of the more well-known random and pseudorandom generators, including Tuesday, o_C/Hemisphere ASRs, Turing Machine, Marbles, Mimetic Digitalis, Bloom, to name a few. None of them really come close to "immediately musical", rath...

Re: Verbos VS Cwejman ?

Funny, since the original post, Verbos has come out with a bunch of new modules. Cwejman, not so much. Not saying anything other than that. Qubit pumps out a bunch of awesome modules on a regular basis, and leave a lot of old ones in dire need of firmware patches because they pretty much feel 80% c...

Re: Clocked delay for pitch CV and gate

As it's stepped CVs and gates, you could patch this with a sample & hold and a switch (or two). Grab the CV you want, then when you want to 'release' it, flick the switch. Is that what you're after? Not really, I need to grab something like 2 bars of CV :) If it's bars of information, can I assume ...

Re: Clocked delay for pitch CV and gate

Hm, I haven't run across a module that is dedicated to doing both but that being said, any module with multiple inputs/outputs that can delay CV can also delay Gates, no? I'm thinking maybe Stages could work ... but then again, it's not clocked. I'm guessing your best bet would be 2 x module. Synth...

Clocked delay for pitch CV and gate

Are there modules that can take a pitch CV and gate and delay them by a certain number of clock trigs? Modules I've seen do one or the other, but not both. I could hack something together with stock o_C running CopierMaschine for pitch CV, and another o_C with Hemispheres running ShiftGate, but coor...

I'd be curious if you get this working. I don't see why not, that looks like the exact methodology used to power DT/DN from powerbanks, right?

Is there a better list of what UI updates were made?

Patch notes aren't even consistent. Firmware page:
New Features in v1.0.5

UI Tweaks

Stability Improvements

Revamped Calibration Mode
Changelog in the zip:
## v1.0.5

- Increased amount of CV clamping for stability.

Re: Qu-Bit Bloom

That's really unfortunate. Literally the only thing that I dislike, no, hate about this module is that entering a shift-mode for adjusting something like per-step glide locks the sequencer rather than keeping it running. So much for live tweaking.
