Re: The 2020 Show Us Your DIY Builds Thread!

Been hibernating from building a coupe of months so feels great to be burning through the backlog again  Nothing fancy but anyways. Some Multimode VCF's, the Swamp and BBD Delay/Flanger from Erica, Horstronic's Joystick and a neat little 2x2 Matrix Mixer from Kymatica. The BBD needs some troub...

Re: BUILD THREAD: MISS 10 VCO 2.0

Ah no. Wouldn't bin it. That was just for dramatic effect  I'll give it a go. Clean it up a bit and take it from there. I have an unbuilt v1 VCA/VCF as well. Would be nice with the pair 8-)

Re: BUILD THREAD: MISS 10 VCO 2.0

I inherited this half built / half slaughtered v. 1.0 (I presume). Would be cool to fix it, but I ponder if it's worth the time, or if should pick up a 2.0 PCB for a clean build....oooor, just let it go to the € heaven? :hmm:

Also, love the knobs in the pic in the GitHub repo. Where can I find them?

Re: Erica Synths DIY Multimode VCF w/ AS3320 IC

Could anyone shed som light on the potentiometers for this one? They're only specified as 100k in the BOM. What I can't figure out is if they're type A or B or if it doesn't matter.

TIA :hail:

How’s the Zlob VCA, Noodle Twister? That’s a lot of VCA’s on a very small space :tu: I don't know how I managed without it but it's very likely I will build another at some point. :tu: Awesomesauce! Aye, I scoured the Intertubes for quite a while until I realized Farnell had them  So I just moved some items from my Mouser cart there for passing the free shipping threshold

Re: Erica Synths SWAMP - the Wogglebug-inspired DIY module

From the manual. "WAVE switches select waveform on the TONE and SWAMP audio outputs. The middle position of the switch give you waveform that is crossfade between triangle and pulse" Use the specified on-off-on if you want the crossfaded signal. Ah, thank you :hail: That would’ve been my second gue...

Re: Erica Synths SWAMP - the Wogglebug-inspired DIY module

Quick question about the switches; BOM states on-off-on. Do they have to be or would on-on work? Reason I’m asking is because markings on the front panel only shows two positions (sq-tri). Or is the middle position intended for turning the osc’s off?

TIA

Re: The 2020 Show Us Your DIY Builds Thread!

Picked up a bit more than a handful of modules from Erica since they're discontinuing their current DIY line. Really nice THT modules. Slightly crammed here and there but all in all very nice to build :) Only a couple left to finish, but stuck on the second VCO bur to a short somewhere on the contro...

Hi all! A few bits and pieces I won't get around to build; Buchla 258J (PCB) , Miss 10 VCF/VCA (PCB/panel), CGS MSU (panel) and CGS Funky Drummer (panel). Possible trades (PCB + panel, EU preferably): O_c, Temps Utile , Westlicht Performer, Erica Polivoks VCO II (or shoot me PM with what you've got)...

I can't say if it sounds like the CS-80 or not. I'm not pro enough to get into the technical details... delving into if it tastes latte or cappuccino :despair: I like how it sounds...period. I was really set on picking up the panel and PCB's but got side railed by a decently discounted TTSH kit :mrg...

Just got a reply from them and the boards say 1.0. They’ve got them at 40% discount atm. Worth a go or should I aim for a rev 2 instead? :despair:

I don’t know for sure, but I read somewhere that the Rev 1 prebuilt was only for the initial direct ship from Black Corp. I’d certainly think all the Rev. 1’s would long be gone as I got my prebuilt Rev. 2 over a year ago, but you never know! Good luck!!
Makes sense. Thank you :)
