Re: 19" rack units to complement a Eurorack system

I have an S612 sampler that I use a lot with my modular. It’s a simple interface, and I can use it to sample what I’m doing and then play with loop points, filtering etc, and add it back into the mix. It’s a ton of fun. Although not rackmount, I also use an mpc, and a Korg MS20 mini which (obviously...

Re: Can I do this with attenuvertors?

Now that I have this down...

Is it possible to make 3 note changes with a pulse? Straight up tone from module, pulse half open, and pulse full open. If not, what can I use that doesn’t involve sliding from one note to the next.

Thank you so much. I’m learning just what a powerful weapon Maths is.
Yup, that's why I have four of them. :sb:  :goo: 8-)
Hahaha well played. I may have a second one in my future but not for a while yet.

Re: Can I do this with attenuvertors?

As per usual, you are all fantastic. Thanks! Got it going with out the need to offset. Here’s a fairly newb question though! How would I have offset the voltage prior to going into the maths? Another attenuvertor? You can use math for the offset too: Input your CV into Input 2, attenuvert it to you...

Can I do this with attenuvertors?

Hi everyone, I have eurorack however, felt this would be a good topic within general modular discussion. I would like to get a Monsoon module to shift pitch utilizing a pulse wave from a uLFO. However I want to be able to control the second pitch fairly precisely (so it’s not going to a note that do...

Rings for me as well. I remember getting it last year and not really “getting it”. Now that I have had it for sometime, it’s an indispensable tool for me.

Re: Lots of people selling MI Elements... Why?

My new ep is full of elements. I absolutely love it. I compare it to a sort of updated Korg Prophecy MOSS engine but having it in a modular environment opens it up to so much. And I disagree about it “sounding” like elements. I can put it through my BORG filter or my SEM and it sounds like 2 differe...

Re: And so it begins... Blacet Research carries on

Coming from Euro, and with no other experience in any other format, this would have been something I would have jumped on, had it been in the general modular discussion forum. For next time, if you want to appeal to potential first time frac users, perhaps don’t put the offer in the frac forum. Doh!

Re: Roland Jupiter X

I have a Jupiter 6, and can say as to the above posters, Roland was looking for convenience back then. It can sound like a fully analogue Oberheim, or a very digital machine. That’s the absolute beauty of it. It can be everything! It’s still a very modern sounding poly! Get them now though as they w...

I have a JAZZ drive that I need to dig the cable out for it. I think it should work fine (and I have a ton of discs for it). Yes, I’m old. Haha.

Re: I use my modular rig and an MPC 2500 to do live Trap remixes

Very cool! I’m just getting to grips with the sequencer in song mode. It’s a pig! It is stillstehet most intuitive sampler I’ve ever use though... my s1000/emu e6400 has had 0 use since I bought them. Yeah song mode is not really great, glad it exists but I don't use it much. You have a 2500? No I ...

Re: Tiptop Mantis cases

What modules have folks been struggling to fit in their Tiptop Mantis cases? I've yet to come across a module that is too deep, but I'm struggling right now to fit the Befaco Hexpander in -- the Hexpander has a unique two-tiered PCB layout which seems too big for the case. Might have to try to file...

My new stuff is a lot more MPC.. and it’s given my music a very interesting vibe. It’s so nice when a piece of hardware changes your approach.
