Re: Photos of the EMS (Cornwall) Synthi A 2011
Is it tricky or difficult to mount a naked Synthi A in a Spartanite case (should you be lucky enough to find one) or to modify another case to fit?

Re: Serge 4 panels only
What do you want to accomplish with them? Do you have external sources you want to incorporate? Are you leaning toward paperface or later style Serge?

Re: Synton Fenix I and II
Any thoughts on which is Serge and which is the Fenix in this one? Almost sounds like dueling basslines, to me:

Re: Synton Fenix I and II
There's also this. I think the Fenix was used for the vocal formant sounds among other things (someone will correct me ;): https://youtu.be/jGSZ6K5biJI Coil also used the Fenix in the studio and live, I think. Thighpaulsandra has 2 Fenix 1's and they're definitely not boring or poorly recorded on hi...

Re: Looking for extreme minimalism
Some great examples in this thread! I definitely remember how life-changing my discovery of Elian Radigue was, too... I'd like to add some examples of my own music since Eleh came up and creating minimal compositions using a Serge modular has been my focus, although not always my output, for the las...

Re: Problems with Serge Klangzeit panel
Never had an issue with the trimmers other than what I mentioned above and it was 10+ years ago. Why not send it back to Rex or Kevin Fortune rather than risk damaging things?

Re: Problems with Serge Klangzeit panel
It's not an uncommon issue with WADs. They may be perfectly calibrated in the shop but during shipping or after lack of use, temperature changes, etc., they get out of calibration. There are two trimmers, I think, on the WAD boards that you must adjust until you get the right response for the B outp...

I haven't heard anything and I doubt many people have. I haven't hit the limits, myself, though I'm not a power user like some. SSC are providing free updates every month, it seems, with new features and usability improvements. You can use Ethernet instead of firewire for connecting to the host comp...

Re: Muslimgauzian Distorted Beat Putty
Congratulations on getting these out! Looking forward to this one and the modular album.
When I saw 'Muslimgauzian' in the title I guessed the gear used would include the OT -- I got one recently and immediately went to that territory with it. It really excels at enabling dub-style performances...
