Re: Schlappi Engineering Interstellar Radio

Argh, I just saw, that there is an Angle Grinder T Shirt on the Schlappi site, which I browsed because of reading this thread. But it would be more than twice the T shirts actual cost to send it to Germany. Damn. Haven't ever Gased for a T shirt that much.

Re: Buy Maths, just buy Maths

I really love Math's sound as a subharmonics generator.

I bought it very early, mostly Loopops fault I guess, and I still love it.

Re: I shall critique your works! (if you want me to)

Errrm... If you mean to ask, if I am still on this, I am, I just got badly caught up in a paper I have to finish, which is taking longer and more resources, than expected. I hope to do some reviewing on the weekend, if not, then definitely next weekend. Sorry for the wait, but actually, not really ...

Dude " ege.gonul", that long reply just above was definitely a reading experience.
Your line of thought is similar to a wogglebug on an extreme setting.
It makes me interested to listen to what music you might make.
Indeed!

Re: pulse buffer? averager?

I think easiest might be to use a module that uses more taps to calculate the clock. Sadly, the only module I can think of is Fourmulator right now, which is not exactly, umm, handy, but there are surely more of them around.

Re: High-end audio in-out module?

It’s loaded terminology of course, but this context might clarify a few things. “Professional” equipment is largely the way it is to solve the problems that people have moving voltages effectively around a large studio or venue. This is a different problem than recording a euro rack on a small tabl...

Re: I shall critique your works! (if you want me to)

Likewise if anyone would like their work totally fucking torn down and ridiculed after only the most cursory of listens (maybe less than 10 seconds total, skimming through) via laptop speakers, give me a shout ;) I absolutely love that idea. Please make a thread for that! I think people need to kno...

I shall critique your works! (if you want me to)

I had this idea.I thought it was about time I sat down and listened to some of the stuff all the wigglers around here made, and then I thought, maybe someone would be interested in feedback as well? So if you would like me to check out your track, post a link here, I will listen back on a properly a...

I find it fascinating to get an image or maybe rather an emotion towards the different sides of this debate and their way of arguing. Re: Pitch Calibration in Eurorack is a pain in the ass

I am glad I found this topic. Would you assume, that getting one digital Osc as a reference would be a feasible way of checking all the V/Oct sources' calibrations? When I read Mr. Hinton state, that 7 octaves of tracking should be expected, I feel like a doofus. I don't have a single Osc in that ra...

Re: Rack layouts

I found that the most important aspect to me is keeping cables as short as possible. And like has been stated before, that is basically impossible unless you always use the same patches, BUT I found a few things that should stay together. My triggers and Tempo come from the same two sources most of ...

as usual, perhaps some more details on your setup might make it easier to give suggestions on combining various elements. apart from that, you say you have stuff that would come to life if you combined it with the rack stuff, so...you should just do that! I've got a few bits around the rack that ar...

Combining your Modular with standalone synth's

I hardly ever do it, not even the O Coast. Everything inside the rack is just kind of its own little world and somehow it needs conscious effort for me to use stuff from the outside with it. Is it the same for you guys? And do you have some good advice for changing that? Cause I have some good stuff...

My father used to say: If everybody always wants the cheapest, there will be nothing but shit one day.

I found that to be pretty insightful.
