Re: SSF zero point oscilator

I think it would be fair to erase the "manual coming soon" from the website at this point...

Or just release whatever written docs you have so far. Some insights on the interplay between ZeroPoint and the other mod ins are highly necessary.

Marbles! The yellow mode will give you tuplets and the jitter makes it wonk. Its the only module I allow to take the composing out of my hands :)

Re: Cosmotronic Cosmix

Interesting. So you could theoretically mix a few CVs on channels 1-3 and send them out the aux output and use the rest for audio via the main outs? Does somebody want to comment on this? Is it a dumb idea? Yea you can do that, just turn down the channel faders and set the aux-switches to the left ...

Main out is AC coupled, Aux bus is DC coupled

Re: will this work?

Does supercell have enough gain though? Eurorack works not with line level, but higher voltages. You also cannot be entirely sure, that your Poweramp can handle the voltages coming out of the modular without ditorting. An input/output module is what would help you with both of these issues, and they...

Cold Mac's usefulness is inversely proportional to the number of modules it shares a rack with.
How comes? Whats the point of Cold Mac with just one more module?

Re: Schippmann CS-8 Series "Cook" Compressor

I am still so horny for this compressor, but fuckin CoViD thoroughly ruined my bank account. But when making bass patches ITB I love to abuse a moving EQ with gain before a compressor to get crisp and moving highs. I really want to hear this in analogue... Well, what I really want to do, is hook a n...

Whow. That would make things even more complicated. But are you sure, that is not just because of the small random offset on the mod attenuators?

Or could you elaborate, what is different about them?

Re: Recording technique: building songs from recording euro samples / loops

Choice of a DAW is kinda personal and might depend on what you wanna do, what computer you use, how you wanna work. I use my rig almost exclusively like that, to record samples and tracks one after another. I use the HexInverter Mutant Brain for the connection PC to Modular. Used to be a CuBase user...

Re: "You can also purchase Arturia Link components at cost price."

I am done with Arturia for their crappy support, abandoning of products and the way they used Emilies name to try to look good on the Microfreak.

There is enough great companies out there to make it easy for me to avoid them.

Oh, and am I right to assume, that "the selecct bus" is the CV and Gate busses combined?

So you can only ever use one of each, CV/Gate or Select?

Re: CV and Sync bus - Whats the situation in 2020?

Ok, after some investigation, I found the A-185-2, which before I didnt realize still serves as bus access module and almost no oscillators that make use of the CV bus.

So maybe let me rephrase my question: Why don't they? It is, or at least seems, such a good idea.

Is there a list of modules using the Bus somewhere?

Are there still bus access modules around?

Are you guys using the bus? I would really love more normalizing in my rack.

Could you elaborate, why it doesnt make any difference with sines? Or is this derailing the thread too much and I should open a new topic? My calculus is weak at best, but frequency is "phase change over time." It's the same principle as how modulating a delay can create pitch shifts, but specifica...
