Re: Subcon SY-1

The project still seems to be moving forward, at least:

Re: The big LepLoop, ArpoLoop, Arpopone, Lumanoise & Multicassa Thread

I have the Arpopone and the Multicassa and don't have any problems with the build quality. Of course they are not the sturdiest of devices, but the wood paneling and the quirky design make them stand out at least. And I love the special way of working with them, you never really know what is going t...

Re: Gotharman's SpazeDrum

Bought and excited to listen to it now! Second track already sounds super spazedrummy :sb: Thank you! Could you tell us more about your general workflow? Did you record and perform your SpazeDrum patches live and then layer the other synths on top? Or did you sequence everything via MIDI simultaneo...

Re: Gotharman's SpazeDrum

I've just released an album ("Tik-Tak") that is completely built around the SpazeDrum (Blue). The SpazeDrum is featured on every track, and most of the tracks started out as SpazeDum patches. I'm almost exclusively using the analog oscillators (with very few exceptions), plus a few of Gotharman's ef...

Re: Voltage Research Laboratory!! Pitt Mod......

The equivalents of VCAs in the VRL are the Dynamics Controllers (they can be pure VCAs or Filters or a combination thereof call Low Pass Gate). The function generators can be used like Envelopes or LFOs (when they are set to cycle). Patch your gate to Function generator "in" and make sure it's not s...

Re: MOTOR SYNTH

Can the guys who pulled the trigger and got theirs post some audio demos? It would be nice to see what you all come up with something this left-field. Not a demo per se, but here's a track that features the Motor Synth (the Motor Synth is the voice that comes in 30 seconds into the track): https://...

Re: MOTOR SYNTH

From an email from Gamechanger Audio yesterday:
"Happy to say that we are finally shipping your Motor Synth order. It will be dispatched by the end of this week and you should receive it at some point from the 20th of July to the 24th of July."

Re: Gotharman's SpazeDrum

How’s everyone doing with their SpazeDrums? I'm loving it. I'm still mainly exploring the analog oscillators and the sequencer, plus I've started to experiment with the morphing features, which are really cool. I've also messed around a bit with the combination of digital oscillator plus analog fil...

Here's a new, better demo, including some descriptive voice over. Pre-Orders are open according to the YouTube description, expected price 800$. I think this sound great and exciting, I love the concept.

I received mine this week after waiting two weeks for customs to process the package... After playing around with the Muscarin for two evenings I recorded a short demo video/performance (playing only, no talking). I tried to use most of the functions and interface components, but still stay at least...

Album with Lyra-8, Volca Modular, L.E.P Multicassa plus

This album emerged spontaneously as I was trying to create and test a setup for possible live performances. It's available for free on Bandcamp or for streaming on all the major portals. [bandcamp width=100% height=120 album=2487908049 size=large bgcol=ffffff linkcol=0687f5 tracklist=false artwork=s...

I have a few newish albums on Bandcamp. All are available as pay what you want, starting from 0$ and also under a CC BY 3.0 license. The first one, "Somatic System" was inspired by the SOMA Lyra-8 and uses it on every track. The second one, "Tiny Robots", is my showcase of the tiny synths in my coll...

Phaneronaut - Tiny Robots

The idea behind "Tiny Robots" was to use only the smallest synths and drums machines in my gear collection. So there are some Volcas on here (Bass, Keys, Beats, Kick, Modular), a PO-12, an IK Uno and a Make Noise 0-Coast, but also some more esoteric gear like the L.E.P Arpopone, L.E.P Multicassa, th...

I got a Arpopone and Mulicassa a few months back, and have been playing around with them for quite some while now. The multicassa is a nice and interesting box: While it is supposed to be a bassdrum module, I tend to use it more as a generator for quasi-tribal rhythms. The Arpopone is even more spec...

I have backed this (being based in Germany), and I fully expect to have to pay the VAT and customs duty on delivery. If you look at the prices for US products in German stores, they mostly are exactly that amount higher than the US prices. A recent example is the preorder price for the Moog Matriarc...
