FM AID is updated to 4 HP size, will be available soon.
Great news.

Any chance for a 4hp Sawtor?

Re: Xaoc Devices Sarajewo: Syncable Analog Delay Line prototype

Wow. I cant we are finally getting close. It's been a long time. So what this means basically, is that there is no way to know how the cancellation of the clock signal (in longer time settings) will work without actually buying the module yourself and try it out. I’m with you. The announcement, and...

Works for me!!!one
Have you tried any of the run/stop or rotate functions while slaved?
That's where it went it really goes strange.

I'm wondering what Pamela's New Workout is like in actual use. Again, A tiny screen, loads of options and parameters, etc.. ...and the Tempi... no screen, .. it says on the website "HUMAN programming is fast and intuitive".... ok, :hmm: Suggestions? Re: mannequins mangrove availability?

In any case, “80%” is getting thrown around a lot these days as if it’s something more than arbitrary fraction, and I’ve seen a lot of sour grapes and cast aspersions here and elsewhere of people who sell supply-limited used modules for what the market will bear. Some of these sellers may seem a bi...

Re: New Veils vs Tangle Quartet

Can anyone speak to how the v2 Veils overdrives? I played with the v1 Veils, and I found it cleaner than the Intellijel Quad, which I grabbed at the time for the overdriven character. It's been a while since then, though, and there's no opportunity to get into a shop now and play with it myself. The...

Re: My first DIY VCOs

That would be impressive to see. I was originally planning on 6hp (you can see a bit of the paper layout in one of the photos) but didn't feel confident enough to pull it off without ending up with a couple of controls clashing or not being able to get access to all the terminals to solder. Yeah, i...

Interesting.

I was just looking at the Electrosmith 3340 submodule wondering whether I could pack it all down into a 4hp faceplate.

Consider the After Later Audio bOSC.
Thanks, I've been looking at a bunch of the 3340-based oscillators. There are even 2 on modular grid that are 4hp.
- Division 6 CEM3340 VCO
https://division-6.com/products/cem3340-vco/
- And a Synthrotek

I do like that the bOSC has a LFO/Audio rate switch.

Re: Instruō - Cš-L complex oscillator [CS-L]

And I just recently finished assembling the Intellijel Complex Oscillator by adding Bifold to Dixie2+ and Rubicon2. These three modules used as a single Complex Oscillator are even further up the scale - Through-Zero FM, Warp and both a Buchla and Serge-style wavefolder - and a far more open/modula...

Re: Small Modulator Oscillator?

I thought I'd collect the suggestions so far for anyone else that might be asking a similar question. From my standpoint, the Doepfer and the Zlob look the best. Despite the caution that Zlob themselves throw up about the Dual VCO's limitations, it really does look the best option for size, and also...

Ha :) Nice. What about a disting ex? Can run as two separate osc, including a pure sine. 8HP. Plus all the other stuff when you’re not using it as a modulator.
I haven't ever looked into any of the Distings, and had no idea the EX could run two oscillators.

Thanks, I'll definitely look into it.

How small?
Dixie or II+?
Sorry, that is a good question.

I have a travel case, so a very finite amount of hp. That's why I found the Zlob Dual VCO so attractive. It's 2 voices in 4hp.

I'm hoping to get 2 more oscillators, so probably 4hp max each?

Dixie 2+ is a nice clean, predictable oscillator to have lying around in case you need it. Tracks nicely and LFOs willingly too.
I wish Intellijel still made the 4hp Dixie. Like the Doepfer A-111-3 suggested above, there's quite a bit squished into a small, but useful size.

Re: Small Modulator Oscillator?

Twin Waves MK II was just announced. I use my Twin Waves almost exclusively as a modulation source for my G3 and ZPO. It has a ton of wave forms and modes, but is easy to navigate. It has 2 v/o inputs and it’s only 8 hp. Since Mk II just came out, you’ll be seeing some used Mk 1’s up for sale soon,...

Small Modulator Oscillator?

I'm looking for recommendations for small oscillators that I could use as modulators for my other oscillators. I use the ZPO and Joranalogue Generate-3 extensively, and both of those need a number of modulation sources to really open up their potential. Running Ochd at high frequencies has been grea...

if a 2020 Blinds came out like this in 10hp, that could interest me... Re: Cosmotronic Delta-V - Dual Envelope Generator and VCA

Damn any idea why the Delta V can sound so punchy ? I'm not sure what actually make env punchy. I picked one up recently, and at full positive, mine has more volume than a...
