Oh hey! We're back!

Anachronism is the reason for the season, and in that theme, the website is now back up and running after a LONG hiatus. https://totalmusik.com/product/tmk001-polyphonic-wretch-machine-vintage-kontakt-3-5-edition/ What's new: Nothing! Except I've now added a Reason refill format library to the shop....

As you can tell by my join date and my post count, I've been here a long time but I don't visit or chat often. But I've known Mike since the early aughts from a previous forum, and came over here with him when he started it. I met him once in person and his energy was infectious, and it showed in ho...

NECROJACK!!!! nicely done. Elektron has been a nonstop source of inspiration for me for over a decade, almost 15 years now. I use the Digitakt and Digitone now instead of the Monomachine and Machinedrum. Just as inspiring, just as awesome, and they don't touch my computer. Overbridge didn't matter t...

HOLY SHIT - I HAVE TWO HUMAN CHILDREN NOW Seriously, things have gotten incredibly sidetracked in the worst way. I am perpetually in update mode for both the website as well as new libraries and extensions of the first library, but it's been rough..... On the plus side, I have two amazing kids, both...

Fuck the mixer! I'd be happy with a Wretch Machine ;)

The mixer looks damn nice though.
Fucking the mixer is not advisable :goo:

OH HELLO EVERYONE!

I'm back - nothing immediately new to report, just that I am actively getting material ready to release again. More soon, if anyone is hyperactively looking for me/new library news, feel free to PM me until I have the PR team write up the next big press release!

Ok fine, since you asked: I've created a tiny human capable of hypersonic sound generation, currently working on troubleshooting the mysterious greenish brown paste that seems to flow out of its back end regularly :hihi: Otherwise, there's a few formats of the TMK001 library just about ready to put ...

Samples were all looped and cut by hand, so I'm not entirely sure what the problem could be... Can anyone reproduce?

Sorry if it's caused you any frustration, looping was the one thing I spent quite a bit of time on whe prepping the library so If something is amok I'd definitely like to fix it!

D1000, R Series demo via The Wretch

So this year has been a crappy year for studio time for me. Work travel and tons of other things I can't quite go into have prevented me from spending time recording. I'm about to pack up my studio, in preperation for my 2nd studio move in less than a year, and before doing so am spending some time ...

The mixer was a one off. We were told not to expect another one. I am sure it is fine and dandy. But I think the costs and tech would exceed the purpose. Kind of like a tube ADSR, sounds cool but really overkill. Overkill, yes. Awesome? Hell yes. It takes the term "transparent" and shits on it. Twi...

The song that started it all for me, with a video. This was recorded on my first outing with the TM-1, using it alongside a severely damaged Sears and Roebuck 10 watt tube amp and other assorted broken things.

I bought a TM-1 based on an in-store jam at Two Lines in Manhattan, and abused the crap out of it, generating a bunch of tracks that I posted in the synthtopia forums: http://www.synthtopia.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=146 Eric took a liking to me, and after breaking the news to my parents, he formall...

I have witnessed the power of metasonix

I had 6 eurorack modules, the D1000 and 7 TM modules all powered up, and a transformer exploded on our block knocking out power for a few minutes and creating daylight with it's massive fireball. I'm sure it's unrelated, but I can dream that it was my arsenal of vacuum tube mayhem that momentarily r...
