You can't open Reason on two computers? Do you mean at once?
Yes. That's in the licensing agreement. I have heard that Reason Studios is dropping Ignition Key support. (For those that don't know, the Ignition Key is a $50 USB stick that contains your license.)

Re: Does anyone use Propellerheads Reason?

I have spent so much time and money on Reason over 20 years I can't even add it up. To it's credit I can still open song files from 2001. But sadly there's so much that needed to be improved over the years, that I feel I should have moved on from it a long time ago. I still use it to record my euror...

Re: Erica Synths DIY Polivoks VCO v3 Rotary Knob Question

I have the same question, which was never really answered -- how on earth are you supposed to align the rotary switch? The instructions don't say, and I can't figure it out from looking at the schematic. Worst-case, I can pick one of the four possible orientations and try it, but that could mean re...

Re: Robaux 3PT

The calibration process is IMHO a bit :picard: I just measured the output voltages with DMM. With main pot (B) fully CCW you obviously get 0V on all outputs (P, R, Q). If you're tuning C1 to 0V that means you'll get C5 with 4V (because "V/Oct", right?) So, with B fully CW, use G/H/I to get 4V on th...

Re: performer (or is it per|former?) sequencer build

Hi all, I've seen it mentioned before but wonder if anyone has any new solutions - The performer's screen makes an audible hum and causes interference with other modules. It's not noticeable with proper gain staging, but still a little annoying. I am using a switching power supply, and found that i...

Re: Hemisphere for Ornament and Crime: Logarhythm Branch

I believe that it is a simple matter of flashing the Logarhythm branch hex file. Unfortunately I don’t think it is quite that simple. OCP is modified hardware so it has its own branch to support the additional features like VOR (variable output rate). Not sure if the attenuverters that are normalle...

Re: Hemisphere for Ornament and Crime: Logarhythm Branch

I have an Ornament & Crime Plus which has its own Hemisphere branch, but I’d really like to use TB-3PO. I believe that it is a simple matter of flashing the Logarhythm branch hex file. You should check to see if the power trace is cut on your Teensy, and if so, leave the eurorack power connected wh...

Re: DIY Mutable Unsuccessful Builds

I do not know for sure on plaits, but I know that for the clouds firmware, you'll get flashing lights when the stm can't connect to the dac. Your soldering looks good on the dac... you may want to check everything between the two. It's best after a couple of rounds to take some pictures of everythin...

Re: Frames Parasite v1.2: an alternative firmware for MI Frames

I've been trying to get this to flash to no avail. (I've got a Plancks 2, newly built.) I know that 1.1 can run on it. Does anyone have a hex file I could flash?

Edit: I have 1.1 compiled and flashed and it seems to be working. I had to compile and flash the bootloader that was in 1.1. :yay:

I never had any inclination towards electronics before (and am now aged 61) but really I should have known I would get into it, I remember my dad teaching me how to solder my own custom made cables/connectors when I got into HiFi as a teenager. I got into diy eurorack just before I turned 50 (not t...

This looks very exciting! I love that it's got two inputs. I'll have to get a small PCB run fabbed and build one next month. (I pulled the trigger on my large mouse order yesterday...) Love the demo you've done.

I'm having a very weird issue with my Burst. I built it from a kit in November. Worked great until maybe a week ago when it suddenly stopped outputting the first trigger in a burst. Any triggers beyond the first are sent out. In other words, if "Quantity" is set to 1, there is no output, set to 2 t...

Got it working. It was a bad screen. I'll go ahead and put this out there, this is the 3rd or 4th person Ive heard report bad I2C screen and personally, i'm like 7/12 bad screens (the SPI ones for OC) all from "Hiletgo" on Amazon, avoid those at all cost. Has anyone thought of building an expander for this? Would love to have another 8 trig/cv outputs. Hmm. How would that work? There's only 8 tracks of sequencing. Guess I should word that a bit differently. I wonder if Simon or another coder has thought of modifying the firmware to allow for an expa...
