Re: CLK2A / Dual Divide midi reset question
My brain obviously went to an overly fancy solution, when I finally realized it is quite simple (actually Jason of Sixty Four Pixels spoon fed me this). I can just invert the reset signal, so the rising edge happens at the end of that pulse rather than at the beginning, ensuring that the reset happe...

Re: 2020 Holiday Waiting Game
Waiting til after the new year to send something to UK for repair. I want it fixed but there risk of anxiety about it getting lost was not worth it.

CLK2A / Dual Divide midi reset question
I posted a generalized version of this question here: https://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=241872 I'm trying to get my head around something. My goal is to be able to start/stop/start my midi sequencer (Elektron Machinedrum) and have the clock dividers reset to the start of the beat...

Clock divider resets with Midi->CV
I've been syncing my modular with a Machinedrum via a CV.OCD using 1/16th note ticks into a clock divider (BugBrand CLK2A in my case). I want the divider to reset with the MIDI transport play state, and have configured the CV.OCD to send a trig for that MIDI Message coming from the MD. The signals a...

Sorry I forgot address this in my first reply. Why are you trying to avoid ADAT and what kind of expansion would you prefer?theTwiddler wrote: ↑Sat Dec 05, 2020 11:32 ameasy options to expand without the need of using adat.

Re: Audiointerfaces with lots of inputs
Longtime RME and MOTU user here (many diff models), and one time developer on Apollo. For my $ RME cannot be beat. Best software, most flexible routing, great expandability. Latest converter specs very good (though I haven’t don’t critical listening recently, but even the previous gen stuff was good...

Neat little system! Would love to hear some clips. here's a quick one-handed phone video capture of whatever i was getting into a few days ago https://twitter.com/EmesisNemesis/status/1332117223192879108 Sounds awesome. Love that DDSR! At first I didn’t know what it would be useful for, but in abou...

Re: Show us your Bugbrand Set up
New proud owner of a :bugbrand: system here  After a 5+ years long hiatus from music making and general burnt-outness on Euro, I was lucky enough to pick up this beautiful instrument here on MW this week from sir ruff (which was an amazingly smooth transaction). Not pictured is the 6x4 matrix...

Re: Behringer Beystep!
I want to believe there has got to be a licensing deal here with Arturia. B leverages their supply chain economies of scale, and A gets a royalty of some kind for the design. But I don’t know of any precedent for this kind of thing, so the idea is more far fetched than the straight up 1:1 clone we s...

Re: Tips for a new seller?
Sure. These companies make a ton on financial transactions, and if you, as a seller, get ripped off (user breaks your item for instance) the Broker will reimburse you for the loss. For instance. One user broke a VCO I sold (not an AI model) I was able to refund the money to the buyer even though I ...

Re: Tips for a new seller?
Hope it goes well. I'm far from a power seller here, but I've sold plenty on feeBay and feeverb. Here are my experiences: Fav shipping method: USPS. FedEx has consistently disappointed, broken stuff, been difficult to deal with. UPS has been good for bigger items (Korg 01W for example, not to be re...

Re: Korg SQ-64
Man, as someone with a lot of modular and zero sequencers (aside from a machinedrum), I'm experiencing paralysis of choice!
I love my Machinedrum sequencer. Something close to that with lots of CV outs would be ideal. Is this that?

Congrats on the release, and thanks for the discount. I really like your aesthetic and will thoroughly enjoy getting inspired by this while I await my first BB + SL system which is currently en route!

Soundtoys Bundle
I noticed that the Soundtoys Bundle 5 is 55% off today! I don't own the plugins but used the trial version extensively and was really impressed with the quality of Crystallizer, FliterFreak, and Echo Boy. Anyone here use ST and what are you favorite uses?

Re: HOW are YOU integrating equipment into your workflow???
Do you pick a certain piece of gear because you have specific needs most of the time or do you pick your gear because you it inspires you and souds/looks great? How do you choose what road to take? A little bit of both! Hopefully you have a bunch of active projects, or at least some specific musica...

Re: Vertical or horizontal? The ergonomics of modular:
My euro case is two rows of 168 hp and I feel it's a bit too wide. I like to think of clustering modules in a way that allows for maximum patching permutations per spatial unit. In other words, dense patches with lots of modules and without super long patch cords reaching across the system. Think ab...

Re: Tips for a new seller?
I prefer something with a broker. Typically paypal, Reverb, or something like it. Can you tell me more about the brokerage aspect? I know paypal has a protected option with 3% fee. This seems great for protecting buyers against loss & damage and completely deters scamming. Does it protect the selle...

Tips for a new seller?
I'm going to be selling off a bunch of individual Eurorack modules soon (from USA). I don't have much credibility on MW yet (still working on 100 posts after 12 years!), so I want to make sure that transactions are flawless. I'd love to hear from successful sellers and happy (or unhappy) buyers: Fav...
