Re:

I've successfully completed my NCOM (from a Thonk kit) :sb: Only the VC in for the N divide part confused me: To increase N (the divisor) I need to send a negative voltage, to decrease it a positive. I'd have expected it the other way round :hmm: Is this the standard behavior? I have the same "issu...

Re: Unstable DIY R*S Serge NTO

Thanks for the advice. I'll dig out my multimeter and go over it thoroughly tomorrow. That actually seems a likely culprit. :tu: Will report back with my findings. Did you find the solution? My NTO started to get unstable today. Since I have no scope nor multimeter around, it is hard to check....

Re: clocking the a-188-1 BBD?

Your clock is probably too slow. You don't need to clock it for karplus strong. Even the 4096 is able to do Karplus strong (at least bass note style) without any clock. The clock doesn't work in the way it would be with a clockable delay such as the Dual Looping Delay. The clock is the for BBD circu...

i have the donner looper. so far so good. i also have the yellow delay, which is alos kinda nice. PT2399 based. Doesn't go as crunchy as a Sound of Shadows delay, but has agood vibe to it.
Pretty impressed so far. But only used it at home. If it is suitable for the road will be tested later this year.

Newish MacBook Air and a Scarlett i/o should do the job surely? This is exactly my setup and it works well for me. I'm running it on a 13" Macbookpro 2018 + soundcraft signature12 but I must say I have a lot of audio drops. really looking forward to the 1.0 If you are using an USB 2 Audio interface...

It costs fuck all though. Just get it if you're interested. :despair: it sure does, but that's not the point. But i don't like being promised that features that were advertised for this version and were part of me being it, were not included and now I have to buy a new version. This way - the softw...

Being able to toggle recording into the buffers and control the mixer would be great and significantly reduce my R.S.I. :) sure it's coming... you just need some patience, I'm coding also new objects for TAMS and a new module based on a new form of synthesis I have developed toge...

MotU Ultralite Mk4 screen kaputt?

Just got a MotU Ultralite mk4. The display looks a little off. Can someone with a Ultralite can confirm that his LED screen is rested flush or if mine is normal? Here's a picture – sorry for the dark shot. It is kinda hard to photograph this with such a bright screen[/img]: https://www.muffwiggler.c...

did you ever release those pd patches? I'm interested. I'm working on a quadntussy cell kind of thing in max based on pugix descriptions. The 8-bit shift register can be looped. The 3 bits at the ouput form the rungler output. Since both the clocking and the distribution oscillator have rungler inputs it can used for a more complex feedback-chain. What effect does the rungler input have on the clocking and distribution oscillators? I...

The problem there is, Teletype is meant more for sequencer time scales so my rungler would have a theoretical max clock rate of 500Hz. (Meaning a max of 250Hz audio when the output values happen to alternate between high and low...) I'm guessing O_C could run fast enough to be interesting but not m...
