Re: Serge N-Comp

Brilliant found it again; I have been trying to remember this site for years. Lost it when one had to bookmark everything and it used to not be saved in the cloud like it is now; your every move is followed your from machine to machine/ device to device. Good in some ways, bad in others - but that’s...

Re: Bitwig + Silent Way ES-4 Error

Hi, everyone. I've just picked up a Silent Way ES-4, second hand, to use with my modular. When I use the ES-4 controller in Reaper, it works exactly as expected. When I use it in Bitwig, though, there's a huge amount of crosstalk between the channels, unless I run it out of an effects channel, in w...

Re: DRM1X&DRM2

Here, as Tom pointed out, the DRMs output is 1/4 audio. I guess in my mind, racking the reds automagically makes them output audio at the hotter modular audio levels! OR Serge/Bug Audio via the Bug Reds then it will go Straight ES8/6. Agreed Reds 1/4 inch OuT to ES8 IN (minijack) - the beauty of th...

No unfortunately the lost one :waah: is still what I can only imagine is stored in a warehouse, similar to the scene in ‘the raiders of the lost ark’.

Re: DRM1X&DRM2

Curious to hear what others think... Can't remember for sure but might simply have a blank in the studio setup (haven't been playing at all..) Dual Divide might be useful. Luckily Tom, I already have the dual divide - so that’s good to hear and yeah I also had thought about maybe a adaptor jack/ban...

DRM1X&DRM2

Managed to purchase the above and will be contacting Tom for a full 11FW frame shortly; but before I place an order. What would peeps recommend placing in the remaining 1FW slot? Is there a perfect companion?

Best

Apple Logic Pro and CV clock options

Looking for some advice/experience regarding Logic Pro and CV clock to DAW. Prefer CV clock IN as master and DAW to sync to CV tempo. I’m, not really getting on with Live 10’s work flow and I’m wanting to return back to Apple Logic 10.5. However, I do like the CV Tools with is hard baked into Live 1...

Still plan to submit, I’m a key worker and everything is a little manic at present to say the least. I have a small break over the bank holiday at the end of next week and will get something sent over if not to late. Apologies

Re: [Q] Pod recommendations edit and multitrack recording

Sounds like the ES-9 is better suited to your needs, having main outs and a headphone socket. But you can drive speakers from the ES-8. Thank you for the clarification, yes it does look prefect ES-9, but unfortunately no stock anywhere that I could find. So I have ordered ES8-ES6 combo to get me up...

Re: [Q] Pod recommendations edit and multitrack recording

Yes. Sorry to be a pain, one more question please; I’m not up to speed with using computer audio - I stopped using it after logic 5 dropped PC, and moved to MAC only and since then, I went completely hardware based. So can one of the ES6 or ES8 outs be used to monitor the overall audio mix ? via he...

The ES-8 has 4 inputs and 8 outputs. You can expand to 12 inputs.
Ok I think I got it clear.
ES6 ADAT out to ADAT input on ES8 > USB to MAC.

Re: [Q] Pod recommendations edit and multitrack recording

I have edited the title, instead of creating another post. Question; I can’t find an es9 in stock. :-( Can the ES8 multitrack record ? Or can this only be achieved via an ADAT add on. I’m looking to record 4 multi track channels via inputs, at the same time as using cv outs. Is this possible, if so ...

[Q] Pod recommendations edit and multitrack recording

I don’t use euro rack, I’m a banana man Serge, Bugbrand, SLabs etc hence I don’t own a case/rack. So; My question is, I’m looking at building a small as possible expert sleepers ES9( if I can find one in stock) or ES8 powered pod to make use out of live 10 cv tools and also record audio into live, a...

For anyone interested the label has released a few tapes since the BugBrand comps, with the two latest released today. Re: DRM1 + Grilles

Are you using the BSP set to beat per step/24 or 48 ppq as your master clock? Or BSP as a Slave from Bugz/SLabz? I often use a created rhythm from the DDSR to your Tresses(Snare) using OUT into Serge VqVCF (High) for a varying percussive sounds. Similar trick to your hithat tip. Edit : I have just r...
