Re: Patching Plumbutter With Liquid Foam

I am an electrical engineer who happens to own both an LF and a PB ;)
Can you describe the core part of the patch again? And I’ll try to recreate it :-)

Re: Deerhorn tuning

Hi :) No it is only 6 resistors total (one per voice) :) As you can see in the pictures, I used normal through-hole resistors to do it, the trick is to have something to hold the resistor while you solder it, you can get all sort Soldering assistant devices (google “soldering assistant”) So you plac...

Re: Deerhorn tuning

Well its not improving the response of the antenna or cv or anything, just the response of the frequency knob. (the frequency of mine went from mid-ish to freakishly high pitch) Step 1: unscrew all the screws that are NOT the golden ones, those are soldered to the PCB. and lift the top off Step 2: l...

Re: Deerhorn tuning

Hi, i have had the same problem with the pitch range that doesn’t go very low, BUT, I have solved it yesterday! I opened it up and poked around with some resistors and found a place where if you solder in a 1K ohm in parallel with an exsisting 10k resistor, the pitch will go much lower! Mine has a m...

Power!

Hi, does anyone know how much current the plumbutter, coco and sidrax draws @ 12V?

even anecdotal memories of how long they run on a standard 9V battery would be useful :-)

Re: Using the Plumbutter 2 Aux Inputs

Why would you lose 3dB on the signal by using a passive mult? i would assume that the input impedance is way way higher than the output impedance of your other gear.. i assume you get this idea from multing headphones for example, where multing a signal to two headphones absolutely makes the signal ...

Re: Help deciding envelope generators

Dont know if this point have been made yet as i haven't bothered reading the comments, but! dont buy the simplest one.. right now, as you start, you are probably (as was i!) thinking in usual synth terms, and a voice needs a adsr envelope! but, with time, you find out that is fun to experiment, and ...

Remember after a power cycle if you are in cycle mode would be a great feature for v3...
or replace that button with a switch.
If you are not using one of the attenuverters, you can use it as DC and feed it the the cycle input, then it starts automatically :-)

Re: Maths 3? Maybe?

Yes Powder 's got it. Turns out they weren't hinting at anything; they just posted it because it's a cool pattern and popular design of theirs The Instagram story isn't a new module announcement today. Sorry to disappoint! All existing MATHS are still fully functional  - Walker "Today" wink ...

I think 2 is a rather weak argument but 3 makes a good case, no doubt. 🙂
None of the arguments in them selves are strong, only when you look at all 3 together the suspicion started for me :)

Maths 3? Maybe?

Hi, I suspect a new maths from make noise soon, and here is why. 1)It’s “would have been superbooth time” so make noise probably had planned to announce new stuff right about now. 2)Maths is currently only available “on request” at Thomann, implying that they won’t restock it (maybe because makenois...

Black maths diy

Hi!
So i found my self with a full tape and micro sound machine.. only thing was I had all the modules when they released it, BUT, that implies I had a silver Maths, which is a shame.
So I drilled some holes in the blank maths inspired panel. And voila:

Pitching

Hi, I want to ask some questions before i buy one, sorry if they have been asked before: What i want to do is to record some textured pads, like a selfosscilating reverb, etc. and then play it polyphonically with a midi keyboard, with per-voice envelopes. How well does it handle this pitching? does ...

Arturia power problem (some times)

Like some in earlier in the thread I have the same problem where the zone window goes purple and then the module turns off when I power of the case, it doesn’t happen every time though, if I restart the case a few times, eventually it will power up correctly. I use an Arturia rackbrute 6U in the EU,...
