I mean with the gear you have now you’d only need an iPad and an Arturia AudioFuse.

Re: help a guy out - arturia brutes aplenty
if you feed audio from one to the other, the receiving units filter & vca will affect the first synth. which can be fun sometimes, sure, but its probably not how you want to always be doing it I think there is an audio input on the Microbrute 2S that bypasses the VCA/Filter on the 2S and connects d...

oh, shit. didn't get at the beginning that this is just a purebred troll. (this latest poster) pointless thread tho. just gonna be cirklon owners rattling off feature comparison of cirklon to doepfer dark time (lol). but at the end of the day u can do most of what cirklon does with ableton live lit...

Re: Tascam Model 12 (With Midi!)
Also, I assume that it will accept MIDI start/stop/ transport. Nope, it only sends. I use a MIDI to CV gizmo to sync my modular and use the Model 12 as master clock. Hmm, Does the Model 12 send start/stop information? Could I, say, tell my Octatrack, to START, when hit RECORD on the Model 12?

> audulus looks better May I ask what do you mean by this? Visually or in general? The visual style is obviously very different with miRack having real life-looking modules and Audulus being well... not like that. I am not certain what they mean, but I would suspect it is the cohesiveness of the Au...

Re: miRack for iOS - now available
Holy cow. How did I miss this. Must have been head down in hardware. I go through periods of time where I want to ride myself of my Euro modules...I am I that turn of the cycle now, this could be a fundamental decision maker for me. How is the sound quality / UI? I found apps like Audulus, interest...

Drambo Question
So, I am trying to control MiRack with Drambo. In Drambo, I insert a MIDI output module, arp module, latch module etc and I can the control trig and pitch of sound generating modules (the Rings mimic) in MiRack by patching it to a MIDI to CC module. However, it seems like the clock and start and sto...

Re: Happy Nerding FX AID XL VS TipTop Z5000 vs ..?
HN FX Aid blows the Z5000 out of the water in sound quality and utility IMO. I have them both and I hands-down wish I had a second FX Aid. To me the Z5000 sounds thin, and not at all lush.

Re: Alternatives to Rings in 2020
Pianos have been popular instruments for centuries but people still use them to make music. No one cares if your Rings sounds like the other rings just like no one cares if your piano sounds like a piano. This doesn't add much to the conversation. Of course unique /= good and common /= bad. I didn'...

Re: Recommend me a travel synth (lots of suggestions!)
How about just an iPad with some apps? You really cannot get more flexible, built audio capture, import the audio into apps, send those sounds through other apps, record it, all in one device.

So what about that? I did a video cause some people are still talking about "noise floor" or normal and acceptable stuff... - Mimeophon dry (default input level , green LED) - Gain staging calibrate to -18 dBFs thrue all the chain - Rosie knob output at noon so not loud output preset. To describe t...

this is not a thread about Mimeophon's "noise problems", this is a thread that is supposed to be how we all discover new ways to use this awesome module this is not a place to trash whatever we can dig deep and find wrong with it. just like people all the modules are different, their power sources ...

I skipped into half way in the video. I have watched the majority of divkid videos. I make mistakes like anybody. I am happy to admit that I made a mistake. It happens frequently. If people don't buy my modules I go back to being homeless. If that happens I will probably fail school. This is why I'...
