Re: ACL Modular

I've got the Sinfonion, Multifunction Discrete VCO, Variable Sync VCO, and the single VCF. The build quality is high on all. Sound quality is fantastic. Really really stellar quality sound. My only negative is the knobs are plastic and feel a bit cheap, which feels out of line with the rest of the b...

Update- I figured out the mute part- it wants a constant 'gate on' to stay muted. Still haven't figured out the reset though. Thanks.

Vermona MeloDICER

I finally got my Vermona MeloDICER racked. However, I'm having a hard time getting it to sync with my external reset and mute. The whole reset + mute thing is a bit confusing but I think I have everything patched up right. However, still not getting the right results. Clock is coming from Pams. I ha...

Thank you for clarifying! I can definitely add more gain before hitting the t-wrex with near by modules. Much appreciated.

Re: New! Alright Devices T-Wrex

This thread is fossilized (heyo) but need to dig it up. I've had my T-wex for probably 2 years now and only after watching a video recently where it's used has it occurred to me that something might be off with the "stomp" section of my module. With the mixer knob at 100% wet I've only ever been abl...

Re: Decision paralysis: ER-101/102 vs USTA vs Vector

They all achieve the same goal with different methods. Unfortunately this ultimately comes down to what feels best to interact with for you. It's a personal choice that no one can make for you. I haven't used an USTA but I've owned both the ER101/102 and the Vector. They both have their strengths an...

Re: ACL Sinfonion

Hey guys- thought folks on this thread would find my latest Sinfonion powered modular performance music video. It's 100% modular, performed and recorded in a single take with 3 cameras (I then shoot a few closeups for visual interest). Only outside processing is a simple mastering of the stereo reco...

Re: ACL Sinfonion

I still wonder which trigger/sequencer I pair with my Sinfonion. Currently my number one is the Metron (WMD) as I also need a drum sequencer I have a metron, hermod, metropolis, and recently picked up the Vermona melodicer. Haven't racked the melodicer yet since I'm finishing up a song before rearr...

Anyone using Five12 Vector with the Sinfonion downstream? In my head, it’s not a great match since the Vector already has a lot of ideas about pitch, but I am curious.
I sold my Vector after getting my Sinfonion. Felt like they were fighting for dominance. A lot of redundant power.

Re: Resonant filter similar to Entity Perc synth?

I have the SSF Perc but haven't used the ext in yet. However, I believe what's going on is that you're sending an audio signal through a filter that has high resonance and is self oscillating so you're getting a mix of the ext signal and the self oscillation of the resonating filter. If you like the...

Anyone have any tips for not getting wrist damage on the monster base case? So glad you pointed this out. https://youtu.be/mndAeW7oUYo I've been using the Sinfonion as the harmonic and melodic center of a jazz fusion inspired machine with 5 available parts/voices. This whole system was built around the Sinfonion. It's definitely a game changing module for melodic and harmonic improvisation. Right on! V...

Re: Birdkids ”Raven” ?

How do you send multiple waveforms from a single osc to the vcf? Like if you wanted to use the saw and sub of osc 1? Route to external mixer and then send that sum into the I input? To the right of the Noise and Sub outputs you have inputs I and II. These are normalled to the square and pulse waves...
