noise over ADAT/random pulses over adat

I just got a Motu 828 mkii (used) When I connect the adat in of ES 6 to it I only get noise on adat channels, is there a certain recommended configuration or is my interface or something is faulty ? I tried oscilloscope on vcv rack and I get random triggers or complete silence, in ableton the signal...

Also run the CV calibration thing in the software. Mine was all over the place when I first got it
how did you do the calibration, do you need specific volts fed into it ?

Waldorf NW1 wavetable uploads

Hi, I was wondering if there is a possibility to upload custom wavetables as wav files. I have the waveeditor on mac, and it is showing import/export sample but both buttons don't do anything. When I try saving a table it uses a format called .wtrs, no idea how to mangle with this format, any ideas ?

Re: Frequency Shifters and Pitch Shifters

I've seen modcan Frequency Shifter but it seems obsolete I've never used one, but I don't think the Modcan Frequency Shifter is "obsolete". Hard to find, yes, often overpriced on the used market, yes, "obsolete" - no. It has pros and cons like the rest of them. Unless by "obsolete" you just mean it...

Frequency Shifters and Pitch Shifters

I know this have been mentioned probably a lot, and they work differently, but I am looking into the topic and saw some old posts, and obsolete modules, anyone using a certain module for either ? what is the rate of your satisfaction with it? I've seen modcan Frequency Shifter but it seems obsolete,...

DIY flight case (12Ux84HP) or (9Ux104HP)

Hi I'm looking to make a case out of a mixer flight case or something similar I found this which I like a lot mainly because of the angle that you can reach and requires less work with cutting metal, however it's not in stock. Angle is most important, cutting rails I can do. If anyone has similar ex...

This seq is a monster, been using a digital version of it on VCV rack, and love it, definitely ordering one!

I guess I'm trying to reach a different outcome, which is using a pot as attenuator when CV in is active, and pot as a source when not connected. It's probably worth pointing out that although this seems like a good way to save some panel space, it's often a bad design. If an input can take either ...

To do this you put your voltage source for the potentiometer on the switching node of the input jack. When no cable is inserted the voltage source(+5v or whatever) is supplied to the pot. And when a cable is present the 5v source will be disconnected from the pot. I would place a small resistor bet...

assuming that the pot value is -4v and CV in is 4v, that would be 0 input assuming that there is a sum, this is kinda confusing. Is my understanding correct ? I guess I'm trying to reach a different outcome, which is using a pot as attenuator when CV in is active, and pot as a source when not connec...

Pot override by CV input

I'm trying to get CV attenuated by a pot and if not connected then just take the pot value to be used in a microcontroller arduino basically! I'm reading this schematic from mutable which has the same thing but I'm having difficulty understanding the schematic part especially with -5 ref and why it'...

The idea is to read which option is selected out of 4 options from a microcontroller. I still haven't figured out how this will be connected, I'm a bit new, just heads up :) ideally it would be a knob or a switch, something usable through a panel I found those 2 candidates, I guess the slide switch ...

One of the failure points I had before was a resistor that was faulty, had a different reading on a multimeter than what was advertised, so It was my first built that was why I was testing everything, but knowing that, I will probably get one of those component testers off ebay, I know it's cheap an...
