AFAIK there is no MK5 planned and development on MK4 has not even ceased.. So just grab one ( if you can even find it :hihi: )

Re: Dnipro Dot - 3 Channel Trigger Sequecer

Such a great module! Super intuitive, easy to understand but very capable when digging deeper into it. Also it looks really nice and the build quality seems very good. My favorite use of dot matrix display in eurorack so far  Любіть це!

Re: Mutable Instruments Plaits

Just added Plaits to my rack, cant believe i waited so long  . Its really a work of art, the range of sounds is incredible. FM'ing it sounds better than expected too!
Yeah it would be cool if it saved the settings per mode, i thought it would work that way tbh.

Looking forward to receiving mine (6hp) - any idea Igor when these are shipping to Europe (namely Schneiders, as I have paid up front). Thanks!
Also curious to know this! FX Aid XL is going to be my next module, but i never pre-order

Re: Behringer Mono/Poly!

It does look and sound beautiful, but i don't really get the appeal of 4 osc into a single filter and VCA?
Then again i never played the original.

Re: Novation Circuit Mono Station

That's odd, i definitely get 3 different flavors of distortion. The CMS doesn't really fit in my setup but together with the original Circuit and some pedals it makes for a really fun portable jam station.

Re: Disting Feature Requests

Heres an algorithm that i would love to have. Imaginatively named : Quantizer 4.
It would spit out chords with 4 notes or 3 notes and a gate. And the notes would be mapped into the scale intelligently , just like the H-8 quantizer 2 algorithm. :guinness:

Re: Disting EX - audio dropouts?

I am also still experiencing similar issues. I've largely had to steer clear of this algorithm which is a shame. Updated to 1.4 firmware but still seem to be having similar issues. Would upgrading the SD card help or is this a firmware issue? Reducing the voice count seems to help some but there's ...

Re: Disting EX - audio dropouts?

I had the exact same problem with the stock card, it sounded identical to the sample that was posted, but reformatting fixed it. ( on Windows, right click, format [ FAT32, 32kb allocation size, Quick Format]). It also seemed to make the Disting load SD algo's faster. How exactly did you format the car...

Re: Expert Sleepers disting EX

Dunno, it sounds different, but maybe it's another issue related to bad sd card performance? Have you tried reformatting the sd card as discussed above? It fixed my problems with SD 6 Triggers, for example. Another reason could be an unsupported sample file format (32bit). I owe you a beer :guinnes...

Re: Expert Sleepers disting EX

Unfortunately i'm still experiencing weird artifacts using SD multisample , you can hear it at 8 & 16 seconds into this clip:
disting glitch.wav
(3.87 MiB) Downloaded 23 times
This is without using the CV inputs , just using the arpeggiator set to random.
I'm using the latest firmware.
Any idea what's going on here ? :despair:

You're going to get a 100 different answers, trying it out in VCV rack is a good idea because the rack will kind of tell YOU what you need as you start patching things up.

Re: building a eurorack case

With the Power Consumption coming up as: 1124 mA +12V | 180 mA -12V | 0 mA 5V How do you think the Doepfer DIY Kit would cope with that? I can see it's under the 1200mA mark but a little too close? I wouldn't want to run into problems due to lack of power :( Thanks in advance! :) It will work just ...

It was a very good idea to include a preloaded SD card :) Not only will it save newbies a lot of trouble. The samples are also very inspiring and its great to just receive it and go make music! Very nice

I wonder if there's a way to re-tighten them, maybe i will just replace them with thonkiconn's are you using doepfer style / stackable type cables by any chance?
