Oh well, maybe I was reading too much into it but I understood timokas comments as a general opposition to combining music, visuals and educational content, not only too cliches. So no need to get sad. :-)

I quite like the sound of this stuff and know exactly which contributors the OP is talking about, without naming any of them. Not everything has to be a finished product or even meaningful beyond sounding somewhat pleasing. However what i nearly HATE is the presentation. Yet another perfectly frame...

Quite often I leave it in the power-up state (all Green LEDs), because this connects the five in a circular ring, which is the most complex. Any other topology has at least one cell that isn't controlling another one. For example, four cells can all be controlled by the fifth one (which is in turn ...

I have used this combo for years now. You can store scales but once you hit save they go out of tune. Badly, about 30 cent flat, and not all the same. It rounds of the next possible stored value. No way around it. So its useless for exact recall of scales or pieces, unless you are willing to adjust ...

Thanks for making me think about that!

This is mine, because I tried out something new, both instrument-wise and from the way I filmed it.

Interesting, do you daisy-chain them using a daisy-chain cable?

Does anyone have any experience of both the FMR RNLA and the Bugbrand Compressor? Tom's work is always very high quality, just wondered how they stack up in terms of sound? I have both. The RNLA puts hairs on the chest of every signal with some lower midrange boost. Nice for Elektron boxes. Its not...

Rennovate a new space next to ours and finally have a non-work listening space again. I really can't listen to music in my studio, makes it feel too much like work.

My videos get sampled all the time. I am fine with it as long as there is attribution and if it gets big or used commercially I get notified and cut in. Here is one of my most favorite examples:

Yeah, it becomes a beautiful processor that way. Gestural, filtering, weird modulation. That has quickly made it indespensible for me when I get bored of its boum ping duwawa sound.

Sidrax world of tones shows itself to me everytime I play it on big PAs. Playing with the chaos in very small increments results in amazing tones, remindful of woodwinds and baby elephants.

Use the Plumbutter as a mixer instead of an audio source for new inspiration.

I've got a CLS22. Very nice effect. I modded mine and swapped the output volume control to a pot that controls the speed (in fast mode) of the virtual rotors. So rather than just switching between two speeds I can select anything from very slow to very fast. The slightly faster than slow setting is...

Did you use the right output on the preamp? Sounds like you might have patched the envelope follower. Else, an SM57 is fine with gain on the pre at about noon or 1-2 o'clock
