Ahh, didn't think of that. Maybe that's it. I'll cut the trace tomorrow and see if that does it.
Thanks!

Re: Radio Music+Doepfer LC9 Not playing nicely
Thanks for the suggestion. I'll give it a go. It's odd that the traces aren't cut on any of my Radio Musics nor the O&C and they all work in the other cases (Mantis and AI Synthesis have 5v). I'm baffled.

Radio Music+Doepfer LC9 Not playing nicely
I've searched around and couldn't find an answer to why this happening, nor a solution. I just got a Doepfer LC9 and none of my Radio Music modules work when I switch on the power, unless I unplug and plug the module back in with the power on. This LC9 has 5V power. Additional details: None of the o...

Re: Module which unexpectedly blew you away?
I just built a couple Radio Music units because I could grab pcbs really cheap. Loaded Tom Whitwell's sample library and, oh my, this thing is a lot of fun if you are into sample-based mayhem and/or abstract electronica. I'm sure it can double as a cheap versatile drum module as well. I did somethi...

Re: [Project] Music Thing Radio Music 4hp sample player
I made a thing! I've build radios and other projects before, but this was the first module I built, and the first that I made from scratch (ordered PCBs and parts from BOM). And it works! Had some problems at first with it not recognizing the SD card, but found and fixed a cold solder joint on the ...

Completed Eurorack synth.jpg This is it, the synth I'd planned and budgeted for. I know it's only a tiny thing compared to most, but this one is mine, does what I want, and has semi modular and fixed path friends to play with. No more window shopping, I can't afford to keep buying modules, I'm goin...

Re: Looking for a builder? Post here!
Hello everyone, I'm looking for someone that would like to build a NLC Triple sloths for me. I have the kit from synthcube w everything that is needed. I have built many modules in the past but seeing that the majority of this one is SMD I'm afraid to take it on and mess it up. I'm more of a thru h...

Definitely. The CS sounds great and is a good deal. But the MF is a great deal.MindMachine wrote: ↑Fri Feb 12, 2021 9:50 pm(I have a Reface CS which is also fantastic for the $). This thing is deep, sounds great and very versatile.

Re: Huge Eurorack Case Power Options
Hello all, I’m getting ready to build a huge case (9 rows of 168hp plus a 1U row) for a friend am curious about the biggest/best power options. I’ve built smaller cases before and used Meanwell RT-65B supplies. Is there one big supply that I can use to power the entire case or do I need to piecemea...

Haven't seen them mentioned yet, so I'll add Dreadbox to the good list. Fantastic customer service. Broke a jack on Antiphon (my fault) and wrote asking if I could purchase from them as the only place I found to buy had a minimum order of a 1,000 pieces. Re: Erica Synths DIY opensource
Anyone see issues with doing the build this way? Part of my thinking is that as some of the backordered modules get shipped I can simply add those components as they come in. But I can also make best use of my time and perfect my technique for a part rather than waste time trying to find the compon...

Re: Arturia MicroFreak
I got an "official" mic from Perfect Circuit for my black freak. It was listed as pre-order so I signed up for an alert, rather than pre-order and wait who knows how long while they have my money (like I did with a Disting EX). Was in stock about 2-3 weeks later. I see they are listed as pre-order a...
