Re: Post pics of your euro setup!

Heh. No...it's a storage tub that I had no other place to put. Sadly, this entire thing is in the corner of a room also filled with CDs, movies and boxes I have yet to unpack after moving. So I improvised by using storage tubs. Good luck unpacking. I still find stickers from the movers and it's bee...

Here a updated version of my rack! It’s based on this project, which is constantly changing though: https://www.modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/1334999 I guess after i manage to complete it i would need to start a second case ‘cause i already know i’d want a Belgrad! Re: ES-9 alternatives

If you are dead set on getting rid of the ES-9 (and I agree with previous responses, keep it!) and wanted to save money you could get a small USB mixer for under $200 new. At this price point most (maybe all) will only output a stereo mix via USB so you wouldn't be able to record individual tracks i...

Wow, nice job JanneI! Just seeing this, I'm in for a bare PCB, but if you end up doing the SMD pre-soldered version, I'll go with that.

Re: Starthief's Eurorack adventure, 2016-???

I've had that AI008 since April and the layout still confuses me. Somehow translating the row of 4 inputs to four rows of pots, while also having the visual confusion of 4 outputs when there are just three columns thanks to the useless A+B+C output, just throws me off. So I started thinking about h...

(The weirdest/dumbest thing I do with it now and then is when the oscs are on the low range (instead of the high) they can get *really* slow, like click-y/burst-y/tick-y , so I'll set the 6 oscs to different super slow ticks and send the combined audio output into an envelope follower to turn that ...

Re: Post pics of your euro setup!

So with the arrival of the massive Hyperion, the Javelin, and the two little 1U LPGs... I think i'm done for -quite- a while. I've got more than enough to keep exploring, and there's some modules (Maze, Bionic Lester 3, ENOSC, Cloudbusting, Hedra) that I *know* i'm only really scratching the surfac...

I made a dual quad multi and replaced 2 3.5mm connectors with BNC connectors.
Great idea, thanks. Buffered?

I use 3.5 to BNC cables, about $9 each from Amazon. Placed buff mult next to external oscope so these cables don't have to be super-long.

Started with sliding nuts and didn't understand all the fuss about threaded strips. I just dealt with it and got proficient at changing modules. Then I got a case with threaded strips and was like, "oh, I get it now." I've since changed first case to strips and will probably change the other one, ju...

Re: Today my small discovery was...

A telephone pickup coil into Ears makes for an incredible drone when you go around scouting through your modular system. A few digital modules with a screen (like Maze) can be a source of little melodies. This, with the Rossum Panharmonium can provide a nice melody that can be tuned with the rest o...

Have you tried pre-ordering? I only confirmed that Control has a pre-order option, but I'm confident there are others.

It looks like Vintage King removed all of your modules from their website... Were you able to cancel and get a refund? Reason I ask is I've been waiting since August for a Disting from them. On the recommendation of the Vintage King sales guy I paid a $30 deposit on the Disting so I would be "next ...

I don't know what it's supposed to be called, but FWIW, on Podular Modcast Episode 105 Tony refers to them as "Zero Control" and "Zero Coast" throughout, starting around 1:22:00. Later Tim says "No Coast" and Tony replies "No Coast" but then reverts to "Zero Coast" without correcting him.
