Thanks for the reply! Ah yes, I can see the wording was ambigious (or wrong!) sorry about that. I meant «open up the lpg with an exponential envelope», ending in a bang. Quadrature mode; Ah that Helps. Still need the route through the 256 I guess.

Buchla patch question

What is the most "economic" way to "open" an osc exponentially and at the end of the envelope, end in a "strike"-type lpg "bongo"? Does that really involve at the very least say the 259, 281, 292 and the 256? Thanks for any tips. :hmm:

I enjoyed this. Normally not too keen on that bitcrushing sound, but the crunchiness was quite tasty here :bananaguitar: Is the input on the 291e attenuated at all? Seems to distort in a bad way when I do these kinds of things (no 210e), but will give it a go again tonite! Thanks for sharing.

Buchla 200e midi/polyphony question

Question for the Buchla-midi savvy: Trying to get a 258 to play along with the 259e (bus A) and the 261e (bus C) in polyphony mode through bus E, but having no luck. Can non-200e modules join the polyphony party of a single midi track? They are all on the same midi channel - in polyphony mode - but ...

ok, nice. Thanks. so TLA (morphagene) approximates "regenerative record" (phonogene)? From the manual: With nothing patched to Signal IN (2), and Vari-Speed (9) at around 70%, press Record and let it run to end. Set-up a clocked patch with a Sequenced Sound Source (VCO->LPG) patched to PHONOGENE Sig...

Sorry if this has been covered. Back in the day I used to enjoy that Phonogene patch where you would record silence into the full(?) memory any then clock and manipulate whatever you put into the input realtime, kind of like a tape delay. How you one go about this on the Morphagene? With the memory ...

I did enjoy this :nana: The octobans were a nice touch, and also just the very idea of the Easel/drums combo. Any midi to the Easel used?

I pretty much had the same experience a couple of years back. Payed for something I did not get, Roman stopped answering email after a while, 6 months later I called him out here (in a last resort kind of way), got my money back eventually. So theres that. But the somewhat less than enthusiastic sup...

Thanks for the firmware! The display is just dead, but the card works otherwise (as long as I remember the ip :hmm: ) The leds are working. The card has done this once before, when booted (correctly I might add) in usb-mode, but then it came back after a while. I think I switched from wall-socket to...

iProgram card latest firmware

The iProgram cards display went down/dead, :bang: but all functionality seems to be working. I was thinking maybe a firmware update might remedy the situation, but I can't find it on the buchla site. Anyone happen to have it the .hex file for the Iprogram card laying around?

Kilpatrick Banana to Minijack Cables on the buchla

Can I safely scan through the 259e wavetables with this kilpatrick cable from a 281e without wrecking anything? A bit weird with the stereo-minijack... :hmm:

Is there a way to see what messages (CV) a given iPad app is sending to the shuttle control? Other than the blinking lights? Can a 'from device' setup be saved from the module and further tweaked from a webbrowser? Would help in duplicating messages for multichannel setups. Or do 'from device' midi ...

I could see a 223 iPad version along the lines of the iCard thingy. Perhaps with extended midi options, a kind of 225 combo module. The amount of surface covered with the finger rather than pressure, more 'keys', portamento, arps whatnot. Maybe i just havent figured out the best ergonomics playing t...

Thanks for the tips! Hoping to test them out tonight :bacon: I was just wondering about for the very first step of linking up the easel with the iPad; the diode blinking procedure, do you input your actual ip address or the name of the wifi network/with password, or do you make an ad hoc one? Maybe ...
