I did.
I was able to get the STLink to connect to the Braids, but not to the Yarns.

I have since reformatted my laptop wwith Arch Linux and need to figure out how to use the STLink V2 with Linux.

that said I have a Windows machine in my studio that I can use as well

Yarns not Flashing (yet) Hello, Buiding a Yarns now and applieing what I learned from my Braids. I have soldered and The SMDs etc. and want to test as much funtionality as I can before adding parts that melt like Switches and displays. I cannot currently get my yarns to flash. Re: DIY Mutable Unsuccessful Builds

Reflow rotary encoder pins and check pins 2, 3 and 4 on microcontroller OK, did that and didn't seem to make any difference. still the same number of choices. top row of segments now gone when 1111 is elected but other than that it's about the same. Any other suggestions or have reached the end of ...

Re: DIY Mutable Unsuccessful Builds

Check soldering round Q3 and R3 Also Pin 16 of DISP2 BOOM! that brought the first Display character back!!! there are a few segments missing but I can fake my way through if I know the menu choices. seemingly the only remaining issue is that the encoder only seems to choose 3 programs or so. CSAW 1...

Re:

when I look at the ARM now I can see pins that don;t look soldered but something is connected because the program is definitely running. Looking at HP photo: as mentionned in my previous post it looks like there's a bridge between pin 35-36 on UC1. Also some caps do not look like soldered when seen...

Rampage: reversed 2 vs 3 position switch locations

So I finally finished the Befaco Rampage and I noticed after I had soldered the switches in that I reversed 3 pos range switches with the 2 pos cycle switches.  :bang: :bang: So here's the reality of this being my 4th working Module out of 5. I'm not going to be able successfully desolder...

It’s possible that IC5 is damaged as the voltages/signals seem ok What are the odds that both IC 4 and 5 are both damaged? I wouldn't like to calculate the probability. Are there pulses on pins 5,6 and 7 of the DAC and is pin 8 connected to Ground? There are smaller pulses on 5, 6, and 7. 8 appears to NOT be connected to Ground. Ok, dac is getting 3.3v. Dac is not outputting anything on pins 3 or 4. I'm getting better at the oscilloscope and I can get a good clean reading on the Neutron and there is nothing coming out of the DAC that I can see. I've not made any more progress on the display and in fact I think it's getting ...
