Can someone tell me if this is normal behaviour: In Arp mode, with hold off (so H! is not visible) I hold a pad and turn the encoder to change the pad note, but the display does not update the note name - unless I release the pad and press it again. Same with the transpose pads, but they never show ...

I've recently got an O&C - In the Harrington Firmware V1.2 if you send triggers to the trigger inputs will the output loop through 3 chords only? Apart from the Euclidean mode (which I haven't fully grasped yet) is there a way to go beyond a 3 chord tonnetz sequence just using CV? I know you can inv...

not really as far as I know - you'd have to use pitch bend commands.

you need two sequencers setup with the same microtonal scale - so you could get the Er101 and set it up for the same scale as you're using in the minilogue.

Well...oddly enough I just went and played with rings quickly to test. it seems like the problem is gone. My rough guess is that I was incorrectly tuning to a harmonic that sounded louder than the fundamental. It worked for single notes but when the duo and quad modes were engaged, the harmonics rea...

Have you tried putting a dummy cable into the CV input right above the v/oct input? It has 1/12 V normalized so you can use the attenuverter for fine tuning. Yes I tried that - it's more a tracking problem than getting one note in tune. What I normally do is go to one note polyphony mode, get rings...

Does anyone find that the tuning in rings (in 2 or 4 polyphony mode) goes out? My calibration works well for the one note mode - any other mode and I can't stay in tune with any other oscillator. This is just with 'sparse' notes, not necessarily over lapping notes.

It took me years of playing with modulars (and my 2 metropolis, 3x uscales etc ) to realise/accept that accurate tracking, musically useful transpose(especially diatonically ) is something that is much better done with midi...as annoying as that is! i got really obsessed with getting planned, predic...

Can't work this one out... Manual didn't help either. It doesn't send a pulse at start or stop messages. Everything else works great.

I just got a Beatstep Pro. One thing I don't understand is the transposing and scale quantisation. You select a scale, but the pads are still chromatic (and play back all 12 notes of the chromatic scale). This doesn't seem right. They aren't confined to scale. Is this correct? When does scale quanti...

the second sequencer is a pressure points with brains. Modifying Metropolis gate length conundrum

I have a sequence that uses various note lengths on my metropolis. Each step is set to trigger mode (rather than gate). 'Gate length' is set to minimum and is then controlled by a CV input. The gates trigger an envelope (quadra) which opens a VCA. Pretty standard stuff. The metropolis gate clocks a ...

32 stepped voltages and gates. 1 voltage per step...you can't do sloppy feels unless you turn the clock up high so your 32 steps go quick enough to feel like small subdivisions of your beat....if that makes sense
