@ALM - is there anyway that the onboard attenuation of cv signals could include inverting the cv affect? Maybe after scrolling through 0-99 you scroll through (0)-(-99)

Re: Module or way to modulate frequency of any signal

Thank you for your reply :) So yes I think it does. The idea is to not use the oscillator anymore. So I need a module to connect my raw signal in my first input and my second input will be the CV in the 1v/Oct input. I cannot find such a thing, do you know a module that can do this job ? Thank you ...

Re: Ableton Live 11 Announced

What is actually important is how much of the important stuff that needs fixing (PDC, bad CPU handling, MIDI channel offset delay) I'm guessing there has been little to no improvements on these considering the beta has been out for a bit and we haven't heard any reports? Really would love to see th...

I don't think the 0-ctrl will do what you're looking for here.
When you clock it externally the time row actually affects the gate length of each step if I'm not mistaken

Re: VCAs with 2 (or more) CV inputs - discussion

I have a Koma Discrete VCA which has two CV ins but they are summed as opposed to the Tallin mentioned above which seems to be in series. I had initially hoped in my modular infancy to use one input as a sort of velocity control but yeah, it didn't work as planned. This did frustrate me a lot until ...

Built the Coiler VCF and would absolutely recommend anyone interested in DIY to pick up a North Coast kit. Easily the best documentation I've seen and Matt is incredibly helpful and insightful, you can very much tell he's in it for the love of the game!

Re: ALM Squid Salmple - 8 channel CV and audio sampler

Can somebody tell me: Can you use just a single trigger (eg to channel 1) and have it trigger the other channels too? Seen a bunch of videos and can't seem to find it in the manual. Also can you - or could it be possible - when armed and when recording, to have the incoming waveform shown on the di...

Re: ES9 USB C socket dropping connection

I've been using the ES-9 with my 2020 Macbook pro since launch with no issues but I'm running it through a Caldigit TS3. I actually bought the hub with the laptop as I had read that a lot of the issues caused by this T2 chip were avoided when using a hub

Edit: I'm running 10.15.4 fyi

Since the unit is stereo how about a stereo EQ algorithm? I would use that a lot. Thank you for another great unit Igorr. How would that work with four knobs? *3 knobs, the dry wet is hardwired if I remember correctly. That being said, you could do a Baxandall EQ with simple Low, Mid & High control...

Re: FX AID - multi audio effect module

It counts the clock period every time and there are small variations in this counted value. So the delay time has some small drift. If this slight drift is not desired and the track tempo is not going to change – clock input can be unpatched. This then frees up the cv input to modulate something el...

kind of a PNW noob here... i have a channel that has a euclidean pattern on it and i was hoping i could use the logic functionality so that it only outputs the gates when an external gate is high in the CV input, but the results are not as expected. Not in front of pam to check but I think the logi...

Re: PNW Control Multiple outputs ?

You can set the attenuation and offset levels in Pams directly (click the encoder when you're selecting CV to control the loop length) and then adjust so that at 0 its 4 bars and at the full level it's 8 bars

Only ever had to return one module to schniders due to fault and was actually shocked by how easy they made it. They've been quite busy (lockdown euro bump is v real) and are limited in terms of hands-on staff afaik. I wouldn't worry, they will sort you out soon.

Re: ES 9 with Ableton CV Instruments

The es-9 outputs aren't calibrated so each output has a different dc offset so you need to calibrate to track v/oct properly. Are the jumps inconsicent? As in, is it always jumping by around 4 semitones? I may be making this up but I think os mentioned that he is changing some 'code' in the es-9 whi...
