thanks, I already peeped that list on the manual but it's not print friendly. I would burn too much ink, just thought there might be something out there, but I guess not
You can generate a pdf in FX Aid editor, it's a super simple table that would be more print-friendly.

Re: ES-9 & MIDI

So if I add the MIDI-Breakout I can use the ES-9 as I can use let's say a Steinberg UR 242? Use the inputs as audio inputs to record and with the same device send Midi from Ableton the let's say the black sequencer? Because I had to use the UR242 instead of the ES-9 because for the first time I wan...

Re: ALM Squid Salmple - 8 channel CV and audio sampler

Hey guys, i finally ordered a Squid Salmple and am totally hyped  I was wondering - can anybody confirm, that i can use the CV inputs to create accents by routing an additional trigger sqeuence to the amp level inside the squid? (and attenuate it, of course) You would need to use a gate or s...

if you’re really looking for that old school sampler feel, ALM Squid is your boy for sure but be warned it has all the aliasing goodness when pitching samples. It’s an absolutely killer bread and butter sampler but it can get spicy quickly when you want it to, super deep/flexible

Odd choice to start with AAX, Pro Tools and Noise Engineering is one of the more odd partnerships I've seen.
Understandable though considering it helps them get things off the ground.

Super interested to try these out once the AU/VST arrive

Re: OXI ONE - Powerful and expressive sequencer for DAW, MIDI gear and Modular rigs

Would it be possible to have Ableton Link? I'm thinking about another sequencer that is also launching soon, the T-1 by Torso Electronics, which was able to add Ableton Link when they maxed out their Kickstarter. Oxi One seems ideal to use with an iPad and a modular combo & Ableton Link would be su...

If using 2 ex, can they share a midi I/o interface to control both?
Yup, you can daisy-chain them using jumper cables (like you would use on a breadboard)

Re: Steady State Fate Vortices - Mono + Stereo Mixer w/ Tape Sim

Hi, while waiting for my Vortices to arrive, I had a good time reading the manual. It comes several times to the point of how important is to offset an input signal in order to get musical harmonics. Maybe this is a silly question, but how do you offset an incoming signal, for example a VCO? Page 8...

Re: Expert Sleepers ES-9 USB Audio Interface

@nondes You need to use something to calibrate the connection e.g. Silent Way. https://expert-sleepers.co.uk/vcvrack_silentway.html I don’t believe this is available in miRack atm? Would it be possible to use a simple offset to account of the dc offset of the es-9s outputs? Sure it’s not going to f...

Re: ALM Squid Salmple - 8 channel CV and audio sampler

We need to get a cheat sheet going. Maybe it's because I work with quite a modest system so I don't have so much cramming for brain space but the squid is probably the deepest module I have that I never need to consult the manual. After a quick read, while waiting for it to arrive, I don't think I'...

Re: ALM Squid Salmple - 8 channel CV and audio sampler

Exciting new addition on this release is a multimode resonant filter on every channel. Each channel now gets a High, Low, Notch or Bandpass digital filter with resonance. Both filter cut off and resonance are controllable directly and via CV assignment. Fuck yeh! Incredible work guys, thanks for th...

@ALM - is there anyway that the onboard attenuation of cv signals could include inverting the cv affect? Maybe after scrolling through 0-99 you scroll through (0)-(-99)

Re: Module or way to modulate frequency of any signal

Thank you for your reply :) So yes I think it does. The idea is to not use the oscillator anymore. So I need a module to connect my raw signal in my first input and my second input will be the CV in the 1v/Oct input. I cannot find such a thing, do you know a module that can do this job ? Thank you ...

Re: VCAs with 2 (or more) CV inputs - discussion

I have a Koma Discrete VCA which has two CV ins but they are summed as opposed to the Tallin mentioned above which seems to be in series. I had initially hoped in my modular infancy to use one input as a sort of velocity control but yeah, it didn't work as planned. This did frustrate me a lot until ...

Can somebody tell me: Can you use just a single trigger (eg to channel 1) and have it trigger the other channels too? Seen a bunch of videos and can't seem to find it in the manual. Also can you - or could it be possible - when armed and when recording, to have the incoming waveform shown on the di...
