Re: DIY CASE BUILD

Wow this is literally gonna sound dumb as hell but I never considered using a power strip with a switch on it. I guess I just got used to seeing cases bought pre made having switches and outlets on them lol

DIY CASE BUILD

What’s up guys I’m building a 12u portable case that I want to use 2-intellijel 80w bus boards and power supplies on. On the side of both 6u cases I want to put a mounting dish for the bus board jack and a switch. I emailed intellijel about it but all I got was a response saying we will add the jack...

Re: Mackie Profx12V3

That would work, but for future proofing you may want to consider more than just the number of channels. Like the number of aux sends: https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/ProFX16v3--mackie-profx16v3-16-channel-mixer-with-effects Or try to find a used Mackie Onyx 1640 in good condition. I’m not ...

Mackie Profx12V3

Does anyone have experience with mixers that uses them mostly for synths. I am thinking about purchasing this for my first mixer. https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/ProFX12v3--mackie-profx12v3-12-channel-mixer-with-effects I have a eurorack setup that’s stereo, digitakt and a sub37. I wanted to...

Re: Lonely life in Modular Land.

Anyone else share my same dilemma? Maybe I should start a local group or something. there's a new modular shop in south florida. not sure where you are but they do meet ups and synth jams. also the store is in a record shop and is related to this venue http://www.gramps.com they do these open jams ...

Hey guys am I able to record directly into Morphagene using a iPhone. Could I take the usb to 3.5 jack adapter that comes with an iPhone 10 and use a standard patch cable directly into the Morphagene?

Unplugging power

Hey guys I was wondering if it is bad to just unplug your rack from the power supply. I bought a pre built case and I was told I did not need a switch to turn on and off my rack just plug in and when I’m not using it unplug it. It sounds like I could short something doing that but this is what I was...

Re: Some advice for my first rack

in your first rack if you’d need like a multiplier or attenuators for example. I believe you wanted to say multiple. the only multiplier I know of in eurorack is a four quadrant multiplier. another name for four quadrant multiplier is ring modulation or ring mod. this is like a VCA but the differen...

I'd want fewer modulation sources and more utilities - the dull polish that make the shiny modules shine brighter and agree with the go slowly probably I'd add a sequential switch and the disting next though Agreed I plan on working with what I got for awhile.I at least wanted some Of the basics to...

Some advice for my first rack

Hey guys building my first case and would really appreciate some feedback on this setup. I’m looking to make some sequenced space/ocean/drone type music if that makes sense. So far I have put this together in modular grid. I’m really looking for advice on modules that you guys wish you would have go...
