Re: Semi-modular systems with analog ADSR?

https://pittsburghmodular.com/lifeforms-sv1b - I had the previous model of this and the envelope felt great to me. I sold it recently because I didn’t need it any more as I moved into full modular but if I had the space and money I would have kept it! Plus, in my opinion the filter sounds amazing. ...

I definitely can get lost playing with my Roland SE-02 (mono moog/arpish+) with the K25 keyboard or my Arturia Microfreak. Both very portable.

Considering picking one of these up, seems very versatile, and rough enough to feed my eurorack filters :D

I like to keep my studio pretty dim. Can anyone comment on how legible the panel text is in low light, on either white or black versions?
I have one available if you're interested.

Do we know if it will be Sequential or DSI? I think there's only Sequential now. There is only Sequential now. I am the gatekeeper. A lot of really pointless posts in this thread. THere sure is lol It’s actually like Amazon answers You mean when someone bothers to answer with "I don't know?"

Re: 84HP Rack to pair with semi-modular gear.

I was/am in the same/similar situation. I had a Grandmother, MicroFreak, and SE-02. I wanted to add CV stuff to my Grandmother to be able to make it do more. Got a Happy Ending Kit and started with a Make Noise Function, SSF/WMD Modbox, Doepfer Dual ADSR, Erica Pico SEQ, and Audio Damage Duj Jr. The...

Re: Inexpensive random options

When I was looking for more randomness I got an Ornament and Crime. It can do all sorts of random generation, quantizing of that info, euclidian rhythms, and lots of other fun stuff. I got a micro version for ~$150. There's also a company called Circuit Slices that makes a S&H and noise module for $...

Re: Improving the functionality of a small system

One thing that was cool for me as a Eurorack newbie was to play with all the different things the O_c does and learn about whether or not I could find a use for this or that function. I know people say the same about the Disting(which I havent used), but it SEEMS like the O_c is more user friendly b...

Re: Improving the functionality of a small system

Not sure if its too fiddly for you, but I have a Ornament and Crime in my 6u 104hp system (thats only half full) and it has adds a ridiculous amount of functionality for the size and price, and I find most of the programs really easy to use. Its fantastic for quantized or unquantized randomness and ...

Re: Whatever happened to Rolands' "designer" series

Add me to the list of Roland SE-02 supporters. It’s a terrific little box that has tons of functionality and tone. I love that little thing and wish they’d make more stuff like it. A bigger SE-02 would be amazing. I’m sure Behringer is having a huge impact on the synth industry, but I suspect Roland...

If you want Neutron patches there's a whole heap over at the patch library some kind person (not me!) set up https://patch-library.net/patches?device=behringer-neutron And while you have just the neutron the non pro keystep will be just fine and a lot easier to get your head round - longer term you...

Re: Help Choosing first semi modular. First synth as well!

Earlier this year I got a little bundle of synths that included a Grandmother. The Grandmother is absolutely awesome. I love how it sounds and you can do so much with it. Then I wanted to get a little eurorack rig going to compliment the grandmother and expand the possibilities. Bought a TipTop Hek...
