Re: Plumbutter 2
Something I like a lot is to plug in a Soma Ether in the external inputs and use it near the various parts of the Plumbutter. Especially the rolls are very distinctive in the soma’s different sensitivity ranges! I’ll try to do a video one of the days... I’m bet that sounds great, love to see a vide...

Re: Plumbutter 2
Are you triggering the gongues using their white jack, connected to a brown? Yeah, and those triggers are unaffected by the gong response rate knob... can get interesting rhythms going, just using pulses from same roll here but any brown node works...also sending a brown from 3 roll into this gong ...

Re: Plumbutter 2
That seems to be the case for me too. I’d also like to get them to trigger faster. Do gongues have a 'max trigger speed'? Even with the divider knob set to the shortest setting, it seems I can never get it trigger faster than a certain speed. Here a couple ways I get faster gong. made this quick de...

Re: Tetrax waveshape
[ Damn! Is that the same for Sid? 😬 yep, works with all of the organs. Pressing either top or bottom of the barre works. but I don’t like pressing up top cause of the slider cutouts. I have Sidrazzi and Tetrazzi too, and they both have more overhang than the sid/tet/quat so it’s easier to get a goo...

Re: Tetrax waveshape
Reporting back, the Tetrax arrived yesterday. Congrats! I’m sure you’ll figure this out but you can get the opposite response from a barre by pressing on the lowest bit below screw...I’ll press right on the corner. i.e if press/release stereo output for the barre is left/right, it will become right...

Those Meng Qi Hand modules are euro-fied piezo barres, really nice.

Re: Filling out an Ieaskul F Mobenthey rack
😂 Cheers! The diy may be beyond me. I’ll see what I can do, though this month has been financially brutal. It’s hard just to get into *a bit* of Pete Blasser. I’ve found. The derangement is complementary. So to speak. If you do decide to try piezo, you can find various size piezo really cheap off a...

Re: Filling out an Ieaskul F Mobenthey rack
Nice! If you have any piezo you should experiment with plugging those into every input, immediately. There is some info on how to make your own Barres on the cl website. Also good idea to experiment with running external signals through everything, swoop is an awesome filter. A favorite is patching ...

Re: Filling out an Ieaskul F Mobenthey rack
Thanks - I’ll revisit this when at my rack! Just from a couple of hours yesterday I got the clear sense that these modules are more “next level” than owt else in my rack. Ftr, I have totally tinkered with the pitch knob! Even at high levels it wasn’t opening the vca, and was barely tickling veils. ...

Re: Filling out an Ieaskul F Mobenthey rack
Can I ask - can you get Mocante to trigger Denum’s VCA? Its gate output is tickling Veils, but producing almost nothing with Denum. Edit: ive had more success switching to a wall wart over battery, but still... Mess with the Mocante main pitch knob, around 11-towards full cw should give good gate, ...

Re: Tetrax waveshape
No problem, hope they helped. To me all of the organs sound incredible, especially once you start messing about with the bounds inputs. Can’t go wrong.

Re: Tetrax waveshape
Sorta, Sidrax has a master pitch and then sliders let you dial in pitch for each of the triangles. Aside from the chaos knob differences, Tetrax has master pitch for up and for down slope, but the sliders behave different too..they let you dial in pitch and change wave shape. Knobs and sliders toget...

Re: Thoughts on Euro LPGs, please?
I found some issue using IFM with DPLPG...don’t know why, maybe impedance issue..when using IFM as cv source the signal strength is weaker unless I patch it through a buffered mult first. Its not terrible using Swoop or Denum as envelope, but trying to use pulse from Dunst is too weak. Sounds really...

Re: Cocoquantus WHATs UP with them Inputs?? NEWER 1/8"
The two main inputs are both stereo jacks. tip goes to the left coco and ring goes to right coco. if you plug a mono cable into either then that signal will only go to the left coco. hope that helps

Re: Cocoquantus WHATs UP with them Inputs?? NEWER 1/8"
The piezo input is also a stereo input jack. I often use a stereo y-adapter and hook up two mono sources through the piezo input just mind the level’s cause it’s intended to amplify a piezo signal. Obviously just the one mono output, but you could hook say sidrax and hear both press and release as a...

Re: IFM Dunst's noise pulse/hiss (middle section)
Using the 10v square output from Denum or Swoop into the Dunst VCA CV input seems to help the volume issue out a bit- not enough imo, but it’s noticeably louder. I also tried using a static step from an SQ-1 at its max 8v as an offset into the VCA and that helped too. Nice! Something I really like ...

Re: Ways of using Fourses Module?
yes and no. if you don't buffer the extra output jacks, you may open yourself up to damage or unexpected behavior. you may find that the rate changes when you patch and unpatch because you loading something. there is also a chance that it is totally safe and it will work perfectly. a more prudent a...

Re: Qaudrax
I don’t have any vids but own Quatrax, Sidrax and Tetrax. Quatrax is similar to Tetrax with it’s saws and slider behavior but can also dial in triangles for similar to Sidrax tones. One thing is I have to patch from ground to a blue fm on my Tetrax if I want to get its oscillator(s) into reallllly s...
