Re: ACL Sinfonion

Did you multisample that piano? No, that’s the Spitfire felt piano that comes on the EX’s SD card. Everybody is gonna be real sick of that piano in another month or two. Oh that's right - I forgot about all the free samples included in the EX Been debating on EX vs. Bitbox micro for sampling duty. ...

Re: WMD Metron sequencer

Question for Metron users - are you using it as the master clock (+adding clock dividers/multipliers) or are you using as slave (e.g. with a PNW)?

Makes me wonder if there is a small simple module that can delay clocks by one pulse.
Maybe the Malekko Quad Gate Delay?

Re: ACL Sinfonion

First, I don't own a Sinfonion (yet) I just watched the Video about the Arpeggiator Section- This may be a dumb Question but he says patching the multed clock to the Gate Input of a Synth Voice. This confuses me a bit. Does that mean patching the multed Clock to the CV In of the VCA, or how does th...

Re: Non-grid-based, Phase-locked modules

Shakmat has you covered both in CV recording (Bishop's Miscellany) and in the non-quantized rhythms recording (Four Bricks Rook). As mentioned by others Tete+Tetrapad, but also Planar 2 from intellijel allow for CV recording. Another option for CV recording - Flame Quad CV recorder: https://www.modu...

Re: ACL Sinfonion

Another super basic question when using the chord progression sequencer. I would like to control and save the pitch and spread value for each chord on a per step basis, but it seems that those two knobs act on a global scale. Simple example, if I have spread fully CCW for step 1 and at 12 o'clock fo...

Re: ACL Sinfonion

Finally had a chance to plug mine in, and I'm getting some unexpected behavior. Clock -> Arp Clock Jack Arp Out -> Mordax Data -> Oscillator From video # 6, this looks like all I should need to do to get an arp going. The Mordax (and obviously the osc) isn't showing any voltage changes from the Arp...

Re: How do I use a Minibrute 2s with Eurorack?

If you use modules like - for exemple - MI Plaits or Rings that have built-in Vca and detects change of pitch in their v/o input, you can have 3 différents séquences running from the minibrute by setting pitch on mod 1 and Mod2 outputs. Yet, as someone already told you, it is the basics of patching...

Re: Xaoc expander question

In line attenuators?? I don’t think I’ve seen those - only mults. Who makes them? I know Ryo used to do them, I have seen them for sale on this very forum. I am in the UK and I get them from a seller on Ebay called micro.tech (who I do not know and am not in any way affiliated with!) he sells them ...

Re: Xaoc expander question

That’s a nice clear way of putting it. I’m leaning towards the expander for Zadar, like you said; the manual trigs are nice as well. If I could do anything with 3hp for an expander, it would be to put attenuators on all of Batumi’s outputs. Get yourself some in-line attenuators, no sense in wasting...

Re: ACL Sinfonion

I'm considering find a way to send CV to Sinfonion in a more controlled live way, like dedicated faders of knobs, and let the triggers to sequencers or Ableton. Does anyone here do that? I've used Tetrapad in voltages mode for this, similar to what mdoudoroff described with Metamorph. It works best...

What do you mean with constantly fluctuating CV? LFOs and such. Oh, ok. You mean Metamorph is for immediate changes and Preset, transitions. Then Make Noise does that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0A21meC2m4 Yeah, this into the Sinfonion has a ton of potential to add a layer of control

Re: FLUX - Temporal Modulation Rhythm Sequencer Launching Soon on Kickstarter

Probably does not that fit the technical definition of Euclidean rhythm but I don't know there is a more accurate way to describe the concept of fitting an arbitrary number of pulses within a set length, then slewing distribution along a curve. Seems to be a whole new world to explore but maybe som...
