Same, the XL is just a no-brainer and controlling with a tetrapad or such is a treat !

Re: FX AID - multi audio effect module

Best possible recovery to the programmer and thanks in advance !
Really enjoying this XL version because among other things I tweak a lot the clock of those spin FV-1 effects
I think I'll need more to do crossfades with Axys of the same FX with different settings or other FX.

Re: FX AID - multi audio effect module

Please implement an exit from the upload mode !!!! ( an another 10 second press ) because once the XL starts to brick when you have used the error erased a bit too much, there's no way : you have to restart with upload mode on repowering the case. Usually updating is an very easy task with the 4ms W...

Re: FX AID - multi audio effect module

The latest offline editor ( V 0.3.3 while the installer is still 0.2.6 ) put my Bit Defender on alarm while installing on 0.2.6 because it displayed ransomware behavior ( several FX files being encripted ) after restauration of encripted files it seems to work but at firmware generation Bit Defender...

Re: Individual module....dedicated power switch ?

I dreamt once of a normalized location ( like up- left ) of tiny power buttons / tiny green LEDs on every modules I have because of : - HEAT!!!! I leave in a cramped place fully exposed to the sun that really doesn't need extra heat at all ( even in winter at times ) - Unnecessary power use, since I...

Re: Bizarre/Strange Oscillators?

The most drone capable oscillator I have is by very very far is the Waverazor, also comes with 10 modulations inputs per oscillator, best use is using some inputs at low rates / level for best drones returns. If the Waverazor didn't exist, I would look at the FSS Recombination Engine, I don't have o...

Re: Xaoc Zadar, Quadruple Envelope Generator + Nin expander

I've made full use of the presets with kinds of templates primarily to reduce the knobs turning to a minimum before reaching certain times and shapes or chains. To reduce the amount of knobs turning, I would appreciate through a minor firmware upgrade : 1 ) Wraparound for shapes ! should be mandator...

Re: Shapeshifter: I’ve tried so hard

My only gripe about the SS but a big one is that way too many wavetables are using too harmonically rich waveforms that mostly work if you are conservative on combinations / FM / Sync ... It's as if the wavetables were created foremost with more classic wavetable uses in mind then features began to ...

Re: KODAMO EssenceFM - 300 Voice 16 Part Multitimbral FM Rack

Agreed ! Unfortunately, just one low pass filter for the whole voice, I guess there will be more filter types in the future since it's an early firmware with room for improvements and they seem very committed to long term development  Also one LFO only for the whole voice ... but you can us...

Re: KODAMO EssenceFM - 300 Voice 16 Part Multitimbral FM Rack

I've been playing it since a week now, verdict : :sb:  Sound is top notch from ultraclean to ripping mayhem. The touchscreen is a real reactive tool, very fast editing, shallow effective interface, fast to grasp, no headache. Obese modulation matrix ( sources - destinations ). Percussive sound...

Re: MOK & 1010music - Waverazor Dual Oscillator

Really loving this module : as a sign, my 4ms wav recorder must be on 90 % of the time ! Best buddy of of my shapeshifter without noticeable overlaps ... Considering that it's ( among other things ) a kind of a wavetable inside a wave cycle and that 2/3 of the 127 waveforms segments are curvy, if yo...

Same here !
In the meantime the 5 cm from Polar Noise are very handy but Tendrils ones would be very welcome as well as I often do mix of Tendrils and "classics" for better access to controls

Thanks a lot for the fix !! As for sorting, visually 3 categories emerge : more or less gentle sweep / morph | more complex sweeps with several different waveforms | unique waveform per frame. I think visually, you know what to expect soundwise ( with experience ) also you can spot where n...

I have a powerful head lamp now just for rearranging ...
Then narrow modules first, large ones last
Long ago I fried a Model 15 for various reasons : tired, low light, cumbersome module but mainly because I let go the damn cable for a split second and I didn't realize it had twisted
