Re: Digital Multimeter

I recently bought a Brymen BM869, fast and accurate, 50000 count, a bit bulky but a lot of features.

Re: Westlicht PER|FORMER Sequencer (DIY)

RE: LED's would I be correct in saying if the If (20mA) ios the same an alternative to the specified LED's would be fine? Be sure they are common cathode. You have to check forward voltage, luminous intensity. Maybe change R70 to R77 value. Be sure you don't draw too much curent from the shift regi...

Re: Recommendations Illuminated magnifier for SMT

Hi,
10x magnification might not leave enough room to solder. 3x or 4x magnifiers will give you a bit more space to handle your tools.

As I see it: if I change the Firmware on Schleußig to make single channel presses also to be in sync you'd be satisfied with my module?
(I've had that request before btw. thought about that, just haven't had the time to put it in the code)

Re: Yarns question (Yeezus PCB)

MI modules often use PEC11R-4220F-S24 encoders. But Yarns can be tricky because the DIN jacks are very tall. You may have to solder the 3 switches and the encoders a little bit above the PCB after mounting everything on the panel, as indicated by cnicht.

Re: Best Euro Distortion modules 2020

Distortion is all about input level. If your input level is below the saturation threshold, no distortion (I know, it's simplified but basically, that's how it works). That's why you may need to crank the level way up... You're right and I understand the theory. Maybe there's some module that level...

Re: Using multiple power supplies in the same system

I would not connect PSUs unless you're sure it's safe to do so. Commercial or DIY. You will face problems soon or later, don't take the risk to ruin your modules.
