Just a heads up, I've since refunded Darrin at Patch Point and also had these panels checked by dkynth.

Most of the panels have now been sold and are in good hands.

All the best,

-K
yes you gave 10% back, but i'm still waiting for the documentation about the mods from dean!

Yes, I see that now, if it's what inspired Ken Stone's VC Divider. You can get VC divisions from the Sport Modulator, so I wonder if that'll work with the SSG too :hmm:
no, not that i am aware of, but i should def try it!

Re: Serge ÷NCOM Comparator vs...?

The Serge Divide by N Comparator (NCOM) is a rare, much sought-after and very essential Serge module covering a number of functions: comparator, voltage-controlled pulse divider, and voltage-controlled staircase generator. Sounds like a riff on the Smooth and Stepped generator. Is that not somethin...

Don't forget to let the community of Reverb buyers know as well by leaving feedback for the transaction there.
it was too late, after the 7 days... hence this is the only way I could tell anyone about it.

I've already answered all your questions. no you didn't. you gave some answers, generally walking around my questions. I'm glad I found this post so I could shed some light on the situation. Re: WARNING for serge seller on reverb.

Out of hundreds of sales, this was the only issue to ever arise. Unfortunately, you can't please everyone. I did not take this situation lightly...I talked with Reverb and many friends in retail and everyone agreed with the final decision regarding this case. I'm trying my best and promise reasonab...

cool - nice hacks!
for a simpler approach about the freezing, I generally get it to work by using a ~3,3k resistor instead of the Trimmer with a properly rated low current LED on the LED. you can test different resistor value to see which one keeps it from freezing with your LED.

a cv processor from serge will be your best friend for having them talk to eachother. -> also if you have a scope, you can look at the voltage outputs of the ciat.

they work nice together :)

has anyone compared the STS wad to the CGS or original serge WAD? I compared a CGS side by side with an original Serge (pre STS) and the CGS one was a little more harsh (more chip noise), but not sure if this is an issue with calibration. The original is much more soft, ad doesn't grate at your ears...

one thought about the position of the bars could be dependent on where the right knob is set. If it is not all the way to the left, then chaos is starting to happen (which combines all the slider settings together to create chaos)

i think its a good idea to not offer uninsured packages. to give the shop owner one more hint: when sending with deutsche post instead of DHL, you can send a module as a letter (but in a parcel), cause the parcel is not big at all. for instance, sending it to russia this way, insured up to 500€, it...
