Re: List of Euro Oscillators that use the CEM 3340? And Knowledge

I have a A-111-3 and can confirm it uses a CEM 3340 rev G and a TL084. I cant make any specific comment on this chip however will say that this oscillator sounds super fat and ultra smooth, its an excellent, refined sounding oscillator.

Thanks for your suggestions. I will just do the easy thing and keep Maths then. I was thinking that there was some space to be freed. Mini Slew and Joranalogue Contour seems really cool though.👍🏻
Contour is really awesome, have both and prefer it over maths every time for my use.

. What I believe Member *transistorresistor was asking about is if you like how the Deopfer A-135-2 colors the sound(s) you've run through it. I most certainly was not and am not asking anything of the sort. Im confused how such a simple request could be spun out like this and I apologize for derai...

Re: Attenuverter

Wobbly knobs isn't necessarily an indication of bad build quality, is it? I dont have experience w the module in question, but generally speaking, it can be an indication of poor design: if you have a "wobbly knob" on a pot that has a bushing, this is the regular "large" pots you see on stuff held ...

Looking forward to some feedback from users who get this module, its a ton of utility in a very small package.

Re: Doepfer A-130-8 Octal VCA

would be much appreciated once these make the rounds if anyone can comment if it sounds similar in tone to the 135-2. I use a 135-2 as my main VCA and o can’t say I’ve ever noticed it having any particular tone, what do you mean? all active amplifier circuits make a sound. A quick contrast to the 1...

modules like the Zadar that have no attenuators on their CV input or output
Zadar has attenuation on the output.

Re: Disting EX Midi connection to other Midi port

Id like to hard wire the disting EX midi in to the midi jack on an intellijel 7u case. Can anyone call out the pin header connections to the corresponding positions on the jack? Looked in the manual and dont see this detailed.

thanks!

It is in the manual.
thank you, I totally breezed over that on the last page. You have to save it as the default program and then it loads that on reboot. Glad to have that sorted today!

Re: Xaoc Zadar, Quadruple Envelope Generator + Nin expander

I have a quick question, each time I reboot the unit the channel controls revert to a-b linked and 0 repeats. Would be nice at a mimimum if I leave a channel in infinity repeat if I didnt have to set that each time I powered on the unit. Is this typical behavior and is there a way to remember these ...

at 4hp, doepfer a111-3 might be worth a look, saw triangle and pulse. I dont use the LFO side of it too much but the oscillator sounds wonderful.

I have a tallin and a moddemix in my rack. Tallin is super hifi and fantastic in every way. Wish it had normalled cv ins between the channels but whatever thats patchable. Im sure moddemix has its uber fans but speaking solely as a vca- the vca doesnt close smoothly *at all* and the audio quality is...

man update if the different power supply rectifies this, that would be such a curious failure where the module all seems to work ok except for the ping input.

When I set the res to approximate the index line at 3 oclock and hit the ping input w 5 volts, its pings just fine. when you apply voltage to the ping input, regardless of where the res is set, you should see all the LED's lighting up. At least mine behaves this way. Make sure your hold switch is in...

I'm also looking for simple performance ADSR env for melodic duties to free up Falistri. The A 140 and System X are appealing.
